April because it's during my favourite season, spring! Spring is amazing because I love rain, it's a nice temperature, and school starts wrapping up. Also April is my birthday.

October, and HOLY SH*T: that poll!  October by a freaking landslide!  Why is that?

I love October for many reasons.  Halloween was always my favorite holiday, and even though I don't really acknowledge or celebrate holidays anymore, the month still conjures up lots of pleasant memories.  October marks the time when Reece's starts rolling out the holiday shaped peanut butter candies.  First the pumpkins, then the Christmas trees, then the Valentine's hearts, then the Easter eggs, and then comes the slump until the next October.  In my region, October also marks the time when the summer heat finally releases its merciless grip.  The days are still warm, but the nights are cool.  October will start to see many days of the perfect temperature, such that if you stand in the sun for awhile, you get just a little too warm and want to stand in the shade, but if you stand in the shade for awhile, you get just a little chilly and want to warm up in the sun.

I've always loved autumn and Halloween themed things.  It's probably my favorite theming of any kind.  I've often wished I could live in the world of a Thomas Kinkade painting of a small country town on an early Halloween evening.  The air is crisp.  Red, yellow, and orange leaves decorate the trees and the ground.  Jack-o-lanterns are all alight.  Children are out trick-or-treating.  Adults have turned up at the barn for a Halloween party where the seating is all hay bales.  Yeah... I love that world.  But it would actually be really impractical for me to live in a rural place like that.  But I love the image.

Here, try this: dump a bunch of Hersheys, Reeces, and Nestle miniatures in a big bowl.  Make sure you've got a decent variety--regular Hershey, Mr. Goodbar, Hershey's Dark, Reece's Cups, Nestle Crunch, M&Ms, and Twix.  That'll do.  Mix 'em all up real good.  Let 'em sit awhile.  Let 'em percolate for a day.  Then shove your face in the bowl and take a long inhale.  That is my absolute favorite smell in the world.  It's the smell of better times, the smell of fun, the smell of October.

October and December!! Why? Because two of my favorite holidays, Halloween and X-Mas!! It’s a time to feel fearful  and cheerful ! But of course my birthday is also on October, so many to look forward to!

October/November are really great, the weather is normaly pretty good. Not to warm, not to cold and fallen leaves make a pretty beautiful landscape. I also like just the feeling of a year coming to an end and everything getting more relaxed. From these both I choose October because of Halloween.

I like May, June and July the best. There’s something about summer coming that fills May with a certain excitement of things to come. June and July are the fun of summer in full swing. Where I live, the Jasmine is blooming in May and the smell is intoxicating; I associate it with all of my happiest memories. June and July are very busy for me but very exciting at the same time. But if I had to pick just one month, I’d go with…June I think. Lots going on but still plenty more to look forward to.

Either November because it's my birth month and the lead-up to Christmas and the winter months, or December because of the feel of the holiday season and the oppressive heat and humidity takes a backseat to decently cooler weather.
