Rafa...you're brazilian, just like me! I didn't even noticed you stated that in your profile when I first looked at. And guess what? We already interacted some times before in the forums, and you pratically met me, a brony from the same nationality as yours! :BrightMacContent:

I feel like I have a harder time maintaining friends than I do making them. I've met and talked to dozens of people that I would've consider friends at one point or another. But maybe only 12 of those people I ended up still in consistent communication with a year down the line, childhood friends notwithstanding. Maybe that actually seems like a lot? I dunno :derp:

I really thought I was the only one, I can make a ton of them but they end up being short term due to me not being able to hold on to friendships. Oh and I feel the same way with childhood friends. :lie:

Historically I've thought not so much. However, I'm about to move far away and every single one of my friendships made over the past couple of decades plus are now going to be long-distance. :( I'm so nervous about this. This move is going to be a bumpy and lonely ride.

We'll still be here c: . But ye :c

Answering thread question: I'm a bit of a loner but do wish I would socialize more, so perhaps the answer is no, but I don't feel like it.

How girls make friends: Boobs.

How guys make friends: Money.

Everyone has their 'cheap' attraction. Find yours and capitalize!

"Does anyone have problems making new friends?" I do. I'm weird and I have very specific interests. :mlp_please:

Unfortunately It works only to attract attention (which is required to init new relationships too of course) but real friendship requires mutual personal involvement on long distance. Good friendship can not be cheap.

I know it cuz I did friendship wrong the most part of my life.

Man. I'm weirdo too. I do not think that all your interests are so unique that you can share none of them. At least you have many fellow ponies here. ^•^

You tell the truth along with truth and more truth, Dreamy. :D

We can't handle the truth, I have no idea what I'm saying.

Yes, I have problems making friends for a plethora of reasons. The main reason being my limited social skills and lack of interest in socializing/participating in clubs around campus. I'm too focused on getting assignments done on time and passing my classes, so I don't exactly prioritize socialization. There's also my intimidating features, I have resting-bitch-face, tend to cross my arms, and have bushy/unkempt eyebrows. I don't really blame anyone for not reaching out, I look like an arrogant asshole.
