 Dynanmo announced, looking back towards the racers. "Each of you has been given a number and said list of numbers have been handed to our vocal casters. Above you will be Starlight Glimmer and Trixie Lulamoon, who will both provide the commentary of the race as our racer's go!" Dynamo continued, pointing towards Starlight and Trixie. The both of whom had raised a hoof to let the racers and audience know of their presence. Just as the two were making their way into the hot air balloon, Dynamo turned his attention back towards the racers.

"Do any of you have any questions before we begin?"

Titanium waves at Trixie "Hey Trixie! I still have your hat!" She calls out in an attempt to embarrass the poor unicorn. "Or is that mine to keep?" speaking in a mocking questioning tone, exagerating her movements as she turns away mid sentence. "I expect a good scooooore!~" Titanium yells as she trots to the starting line, number draped over herself. As she approaches the starting line, she looks down at her number and mutters to herself, "Alright, number 10. A good number, a clean number, a round number. Please bring me good luck..."

She gives a short stretch before getting into a running stance. Pushing her nerves and feelings aside in order to win this race and get some new eyes on her studio.

"Trixie is your ex, isn't she? I can understand why you broke with when she was... Let's say that her intentions weren't always the purest! However, she changed so it might be a good opportunity to forgive each others for whatever happened in the past! It's just an advice! I don't really know a lot about exes to be honest, since I've never been in a relationship, before!" *Shiny Silvermoon innocently suggested to @Wizard Titanium, without any form of judgement toward her. She even appeared to respect her playfulness.*

There was a momentary of silence. So silent that you could almost hear a pin drop. Widening his eyes slightly, the moment came as he brought the green flag downwards.

"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Dynamo exclaimed, waving the flag to signal the racers that they could start as The Running of the Leaves has truly begun!

With his number in place, Silver gets ready as Dynamo comes forward and raised his flag. While he knew that a lot of the ponies here were going to be competing to win, the kirin decided to keep an even pace and just enjoy the experience.

Once the flag dropped, Silver took off after the other racers. He wanted to help knock leaves down, but wasn't concerned about the amount of steps he took as much.

(OOC: 1 d12 for leaves and one d8 for steps)

*Unlike others who were already rushing in the beginning on the race, Shiny Silvermoon was peacefully leaping. She made sure to knock some leaves as well and to take in the beautiful view.*

Vibrant Grove would look at @Ice Princess Silky <3 with competitive gaze. He loves her a lot, but he won't let her win the race! He'd never hear the end of it if she bested him! 

So he braced himself. He was so ready. He will be 1st. He already sees them going, hoof to hoof with him being on the lead in his head

But as he starts...

He trips over his own hooves and falls into leaves, becoming completely buried by them, landing in glorious, last place in the race, with even @Shiny Silvermoon's peaceful little trot being faster.

A mischievous smirk would touch the corner of Silky's lips as she's narrow her eyes with that competitive gleam in them that only Vibrant would know. She'd look forward with determination and charge forward full force. 

Resisting the temptation to spread her wings and glide, she'd suddenly notice that the galloping sounds we no longer behind her as a sudden crashing of leaves were head. Silky would look back and suddenly notice that her partner had tripped and crashed into the leaves -- the sight of hi cockiness crumbling so soon was so abnormal for her to witness that it caused her to follow in shortly afterward as she'd trip over her own pink hooves and tumble forward ina pink and purple ball of fuzz and feathers! "MEEEEEP!" Ahhhhhhhh

He would smile gently after that display of playful competitiveness. Despite what he says he actually would be more than happy with her winning, he just doesn't want to make it too obvious.
