Removing One of the Mane 6?

I know I will get lots of hate for it but i have to chose.... Fluttershy, I love her but it always seems like she is the one who holds everyone back and never gets much done, so Id have to chose her. Or twilight, I mean who ever heard of the element of magic anyway.

Of all, Twilight and Dashie MUST stay.. They are too iconic in the show now to be removed. If there were mainest characters, well, Twilight technically is the main, and Dashie set them up throught the Sonic Rainboom from her fillyhood.

 

You just can't remove Pinkie. No explanation, the show just wouldn't be My Little Pony.

 

Fluttershy and Rarity..

These two teach KEY lessons to kids and bronies.

Plus i'll die without Fluttershy, maybe not be as much of a brony if she was gone!

 

Honestly, I didn't like most of Applejack's leasons, they have been vague most times. She also isn't even half as iconic as Fluttershy. She's a good character, but if one had to go, it would have to be Applejack.

As many have stated before, I think they are all great in their own ways. However, if my hoof was forced to pick, I'd pick....Rainbow Dash. I'm just not a huge fan of the "Gosh I'm so great and awesome" attitude. Actually, no, that's not so bad. It's the fact that she's ALWAYS like that. Yes yes, Young Flier's Competition, I know, I know. But still, she just acts so "top dog" too often for me to love her very much. Now that are certainly times when I think she's doing a great job, like in Hurricane Fluttershy, I really found her to be endearing in her efforts to help Fluttershy.

 

To me, she's a bit of an "overpowered" pony. She's near AJ in terms of physical strength and ground speed. She's unmatched in the air in terms of speed. Not to mention she can now just pull off Sonic Rainboooms on a whim as seen at the Canterlot Wedding's ending; a feat that was thought to be impossible. Yeah

I would remove Rarity. I will say she is the most disliked pony in my preference list (Hate is too strong a word) Even diamond tiara is received better to me than Rarity. She can do nice things, but time over time she abused situations to benefit herself even if it impacted negatively on her friends/family. Like at the Pegasus competition and Twilight's birthday as prime examples.

 

I say Sweetie Bell should take her place. But of course that is just me.

That point of view is really interesting. I mean when you think about it, you can actually see how true that is. I think there is alot more people Rainbow Dash we don't know about. All we pretty much know is alittle bit of her past, but not really too much.

I wouldn't want to lose any, but if I had to pick it'd be Pinkie as of season 2. Towards the end of 1 she was getting some character development, but as of 2 she's devolved into the silly random "Gir" character of the show and I'm sort of sick of that kind of personality.

If you were to ask me with a gun to my head, it would have to be Fluttershy. But that said, I really believe none of the six could be removed. They all have their places in the fandom's hearts, their triumphs and defeats, their moments of greatness and moments of disappointment. As for the one I'd least like to remove, take 3 guesses, and the first two don't count.

Hmmmm It really is hard for me to pick. I love them all and I would seriously need to get a quarter. I seriously had to get a quarter just now and had to best of ten for which pony could be gone. Unfortunately the quarter chose Fluttershy. I love every pony though.

 

Fluttershy: Why I don't really like her that much..... this is always a tough question because it's hard for me to actually think of a good reason. Cause in a way I am just like her so it's hard for me to actually come up with reasons to dislike a pony I would probably be the male equivalent of if I moved to Equestria.

Of course you may: it's simply a personal preference. Quite frankly, Fluttershy is my least favourite of the Mane 6. I don't have anything against her, as such, but she's the least interesting character for me. Mostly because she's the typical "shrinking violet" type that just doesn't resonate with me. She's either a doormat or else she becomes an utter "not-nice-person" as evidenced in Return of Harmony and Putting your Hoof Down (which is an episode that amuses me, and is therefore enjoyable, but still.) With most of the others, there's an internal conflict, whereas Fluttershy (to me) is just hot or cold, either sugar-sweet or lemon-bitter.

I like rarity but since fluttershy has such a unique personality and is the one of the mane 6 who is scared of alot of things

i would have to say shes a more important character than say applejack who besides being strong has almost no identifying features like the rest of the mane 6

The plot line for her absence would be for me:

 

Applejack's Sweet Apple Acres is growing bigger with business. With the Apple farm doing so well, a local Canterlot pony asks the Apple family if they would open another Sweetpple Acres in Canterlot. Since Granny Smith and Big Macontosh have decided to run thee current Sweetapple acres, Applejack is forced to run the new Apple farm. Although she is depressed about leaving her friends behind, she promised them she'd tell them all about her adventures in the new SweetApple Acres in Canterlot.

 

Honestly, I would hate to see ANY of them leave though....Without one of the ponies, the elements of harmony would never be complete! D:

I think Applejack until her character unfolds more. I think during season three, Applejack will have a mental breakdown, she'll have a song, and the creators will do something to make her character flesh out. At the moment, she has the smallest personality So until they fix that, Applejack, then....

I would remove Applejack. not that I hate her; she's a likeable pony, but she has the least personality of all of them...she's just nice, that's all.
