Do you ever play the lottery?

I bought a ticket today, the jackpot is $365 million(You get maybe a third of that in the end.). That's about the minimum I bother playing for, I'm not gonna win so I might as well not win big.

It's a waste of money I know, but I figure I'm not doing anything else that important with the two dollars anyway.

I only do it during the holidays when my mom buys me scratch off tickets. Most I've won is $5, I believe.

No way. Seems like a waste of money and on the off chance I did win - most places require people to publish their name/picture (to show it’s not rigged) which is just begging for unwanted attention

Of course not, I never spend money on lottery tickets, scratch-offs, or anything like that because it's a waste and I never win anything. I prefer to spend my money wisely.

Nah. My mum bought me a Powerball ticket on my 21st birthday and I marked the numbers on that, but aside from that, I never bothered to.

I used to, but I stopped a few years ago. I never really won anything – that's obviously the case for most people, but it always just left me more annoyed.

Why does this sound like an epic one liner for D&D player's demise? 

I'll spend $10 on pull tabs a few times a year at family outtings and divy them up amongst everyone. Its been a bad streak, but someone always wins a dollar or two.

Otherwise, I'm willing to put money in for a small 50/50 raffle but only after gauging the crowd so I can put in enough to be just shy of rigging it.

I play it on very rare occasions. I know it’s not likely I’ll ever win anything, even small payouts, but sometimes it’s worth the two bucks for the false hope I get to enjoy while I’m waiting for the lotto results to come in. Sometimes even false hope can be fun.
