I generally try to be nice and polite to other people online, like I do IRL. I think that everybody should be treated fairly. However, I'm much more reserved when it comes to talking to people that I don't know/don't know very well IRL. I'm working on my confidence, but I don't feel as though my confidence is where it ought to be.

Yeah, I'm way different online. I'm more polite, more considerate of others, marginally funnier, and I can actually form coherent sentences. In person, I'm like talking to a brick wall with its tongue stapled to the roof of its mouth.

As for me, I think I have some elements built into this online personality that aren't exactly reflective of how I am irl, but for the most part I think how I act on here is pretty much how I act irl, again, maybe give or take a few points

I am usually a very nice person online. I try to be even nicer while being Splashee here at the forum. Compare that to being the worst you can be, an Internet troll, I think it is a step in the right direction!

I would say I'm different online than in real life. One because I actually participate and talk online. In RL I normally keep to myself unless there's a topic I dominate. I'm more open online, and also I swear quite a lot while in RL I don't at all ever, not because I restraint myself from doing so but because I genuinely don't like it.

I don't know if it could be considered a different persona or if it's just a confidence thing. I would say it's a different one because when I open up in RL I'm more... Idk, like, positive? Or supportive, even arguably girly but it's not because I'm putting up a face. Online I feel like I'm more rude and tactless, I'm different but it's also genuine. Never pretend I'm something I'm not or out there n a facade but the anonymity of internet lets me explore other aspects of myself without the social pressure to be a certain way only.

It’s interesting. I am wholly myself in both cases, but after a while, differences grew between this version of me and the offline one. Not just in interacting with people differently, but also in how I picture myself, if that makes sense.

What you see is what you get. I’m too lazy to come up with another persona and go through the labors of maintaining it. I’m not looking for popularity so it would be a pointless exercise anyway. So in case you were wondering, the blue hair and tail are real, I AM a pony.
