Which is your favorite Doctor? Mine is David Tennant. I love Matt Smith and Chris Eccleston but Tennant is pure gold. Just everything about his take on the character is amazing!

I actually like the seventh doctor best. He was a bit darker...maybe more manipulative and sneaky, but he got results and as goofy as he acted, he is the doctor I would want to piss off the least. He didn't have a forgiveness policy or terribly agile negotiation skills. He killed an angel and taunted him as he did it. Destroyed an ancient demon with a chess board puzzle. Even bested the Daleks by turning them against themselves.

 

Runners-up would be: Tom, then Chris and finally David.

I'm actually downloading Seasons 1-5 on the new Dr. Who.

 

Also, should I watch it from the beginning?

Smith for me. He's just so childish and silly but he has the badass/darker edge to him that The Doctor must have. I pretty much fell in love with him during his "I'm The Doctor" speech and his Pandorica speech really sold him for me.

 

I like Tennant but I still feel that he was a smidgen overrated and his regeneration, though very sad, sort of annoyed me a little bit. I didn't hear any other Doctor's complain when they regenerated though I suppose they put that bit in to produce a greater effect for the viewer. Eccleston was pure gold in "Dalek" but Matt Smith is still my favourite. Mostly because of the bowtie.

Peter is the one I've watched the most of, but I love Tom. He's amazing in the show and in real life. A friend of mine had a pint with him and he'd barely picked up the glass when Tom had downed his and ordered another

Tennant was my first and will always be my favorite. Smith is a very close #2 because I like him a lot too.

I met Sylvester McCoy when I was little! He was so nice! My brother took me to a convention. (He thinks I don't know I was his "Chick Magnet) We were all the way back, literally the last people in line. Suddenly I looked back, and THE DOCTOR was in line right in back of me! He got into his own autograph line just to tell the people at the end he would stay until we all got his signature. That was really nice of him, funny too! I always loved how Ace would call him Professor instead of Doctor.

I've only seen a few of William Hartnell. Wow, he was a grumpy Doctor! Then he dumped his grand daughter off on Earth after defeating the Dalaks!
