If anybody does hate us, they need psychiatric treatment! Because hate is extremely strong, I think of it as a feeling so strong that you want the other person dead. Do you really think people want that just because we watch MLP?

A lot of people hate us, some people just like to hate, some people just don't get it that a few idiots dosen't mean everyone is like that and some people feel threatened by the fact that so many teenagers and adults especially teenage and adult men are giving the finger to outdated gender roles through the simple act of watching a show for "little girls".

There`s a lot of people they hate us, because Bronys trying or force other people to watch the show.  And there´s the ex-bronys, they hate the fandom because the cloppers.

If you watch the Brony Documentry and some bronies actual experiences, you'd know that some of them actually been threaten on their life before, some by gun point, simply because they find them to be 'gay'. One of the bronies reviewed claimed he was threatened at a gas station for having a sticker of Princess Celestia made on this car's back window. A Posse of cowboy folk (this is out in the middle of nowhere west central USA cattle country) blocked his car in the front and back and confronted him with a bat and deer rifle. They ordered him to stop liking the MLP franchise cause it's for girls and they don't tolerate 'gays' in their town.

 

The brony said nothing because he was too terrified for his life to react. One of the assalients then bashed his car window, destroying the picture, while another brought out the rifle, ordering him to make him say "I will stop liking ponies." But the brony ran, leapt into his car, rammed the car in front of him and drove home, and of course...had to lie to his dad about what happened to his car.

 

You say that "hate" is a strong word, yes it is... It is a strong word, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist for those types of people who actually "hate" some of us for liking a franchise. This isn't unsual or out of the blue, or over exaggerated, it is real. Lets not deny that.

You really don't believe that any adult anywhere has ever acted like an immature little shithead over something as harmless as bronies? Allow me to recap the nature of the Internet:

I know people irl that hate bronies to the point that they'd beat guys who like mlp.  I have family that says anyone who likes the show is a pervert.  There's some pretty awful people that have this huge absolute hatred for it.  I've known some awful bronies that deserve all that, and I guess those are the kinds of bronies those people believe represent us all, so I can understand a bit.

Actually there are some who have left simply because they lost interest in the show (a lot of people left over twilicorn and some others over season 4 and a few for other reasons) and for those that have because of something as trivial as what people do in private than the only two things I have to say to them are that they were never fans to being with because they let the actions of other affect their enjoyment of a show and that I hope they didn't let the door hit them on the way out. Bronies being too pushy and forceful is one of the few things I can actually sympathize with bronies getting hate over because that and the fact that so many are treated it like a religion is something I am yet to see to such an extent in any other fandom I have ever been in. It dosen't excuse the people going out of their way to flame and troll bronies though and these guys are thankfully in the minority, but still.

I hate to break this to you, but yes, there are people who deliberately HATE bronies. Now I'm a Pegasister myself, so we don't get quite as much hate, but trust me - I still know people who give me weird looks when I tell them I like MLP (and I'm only fourteen so it shouldn't be as weird!) But as Ghost said, look up anit-bronies on Google, and tell me what comes up. There's your answer (not to be mean or anything... because its sad, but it is indeed true).
