What is the latest pony related merchandise you bought?

Apple Bloom

I latest got 2 Brony shirts, but my mom and dad hate me being a Brony, so I can't get merchandise. But I'm going to make them mad and get a bit more money and go to Hot Topic and buy the Fluttershy shirt. Mwahahahaha.

There were some amazing fanmade plushies there (like a Spitfire in her military uniform and Dashie in her cadet uniform) but sadly I couldn't buy any...

Yeah, those must've cost a fortune. I know making a plushie takes a lot of time and effort and all - and as an artist, I of course value my own work pretty highly - but some plushie makers are fooling themselves if they think somepony's willing to pay $200+ for one item.

...Although, Dashie in her cadet attire? That'd almost be worth such an outrageous price. Almost.

According to the girl who made them, they do run $200 for a "normal" plushie (regular pony with no special/custom accessories), and it goes up from there for more complex ones. She had a HUGE Celestia plush on display as well which was obviously pretty expensive, and Spitfire and Dashie were pretty up there on account of the costumes.

I can understand why, given how much work goes into them, and the quality was really top-notch. A little rich for my blood, but I gotta say I'm somewhat entertaining the notion of commissioning a Sweetie Belle from her if I ever happen to have a spare 200 quid burning a hole in my pocket...

On a semi-related note, I just got back from the final day of the convention, and though I didn't bring in as big a haul as last time, I got the pièce de résistance, I managed to score a poster signed by some of the voice actors, including Tara Strong, Michelle Creber, Peter New, Nicole Oliver, and Andrea Libman. It was a bit expensive, but so worth it and is now the centrepiece of my collection.

I came across these in a Dollar Store, and I've never seen this set before so I grabbed a couple(I heard somewhere these used to be a Hot Topic exclusive set) This is also kind of the maiden voyage for a camera I paid a whole $5 at Goodwill)

I went to a bookstore today, and I decided to buy a copy of "Pinkie Pie and the Rockin' Ponypalooza Party!"  I checked out the Twilight Sparkle book from the library, and I was planning on waiting for them to get a copy of the Pinkie Pie book.  But I figured I love Pinkie so much that I want to support her by actually buying a copy of her book.  And it was only six dollars.

Just a little Crystal Empire Rainbow Dash figure.

Only thing I didn't like is the fact she has some weird blue strings on her mane. Other than that it's fine.

Perhaps a bit of a stupid question, but where does one acquire one of those guidebooks? I've of course known about them for a while, but I don't know where to snag one for myself. Are y'all ordering them or what?

Regardless, I did pick up some merchandise from the mall yesterday when shopping with my friends. I picked up a Rainbow Dash necklace, Rainbow Dash keychain, Rainbow Dash belt, and a Nightmare Moon shirt, all very awesome. I also got a Fluttershy necklace for my little brother since that's his favorite pony.

All in all, I'm quite pleased with my purchases.

I pre-ordered mine at Barnes and Noble so if you're looking for them try a book store that's probably your best bet. Or maybe they can order one to the store for you.

There's some great T-Shirts and other stuff out there... whenever I decide to stop being lazy, I'm going to have to go and get some.

Anyhow, I'm getting the Elements of Harmony guide book soon, hopefully...

Ah, of course, Barnes and Noble, how could I forget?

I'll definitely try Barnes and Noble, perhaps even today since I'm going out. Thanks for your advice, Rappy.

I was in Orlando for my vacation and brought two shirts at a Hot Topic in the mall and four comic books from a comic book store in the same mall. I rarely impluse shop like this, but it was worth it! :)

Bought my first couple packs of trading cards :3 I can't believe I've been missing out all this time!

And, although I don't have her in hand, I splurged on an SDCC Vinyl Scratch from eBay. No way I could make it to SDCC, so eBay was my only option, really.

Just saw 4 different life-size FIM figures at Books-A-Million yesterday:

Derpy/Ditzy Hooves/Doo

Dr. Whooves / Time Turner

Fluttershy

Rainbow Dash

And no, not those Uncanny-Valley-looking dolls with inaccurate hair, but ones actually looking like they just jumped directly out of the show. The details and articulation were MADE OF WIN, I tell you!

And if I wasn't a closet brony, I'd have gotten all 4.

I got a couple of little things at a con that I just came back from.  First is a little repainted blindbag figure that is now Octavia. (complete with bowtie!)  The second is a cardbox with colored-in pencil drawings of various ponies (the mane six, CMC, Spitfire, etc.) all in different Magic: the Gathering outfits. (Twilight as Jace Beleren, Rarity as Liliana Vess, Discord as Nicol Bolas, etc.)  A picture of the cardbox is below. (IT'S SO PRETTY!  Or at least I think so, which I suppose is what's important.)

Rainbow Dash is on a different part of the box as Avacyn, as are the CMC, Discord, Spitfire, a background pegasus that I don't know, and the Cake twins.

Took a trip to the local TRU (which is kind of threadbare, but pretty good selection of pony stuff), and picked up these motherbuckers:

img-1657688-1-pony_toys_zps100b5b08.jpg

Been on the lookout for the Cakes set, and got lucky and grabbed the last one they had, then I saw Apple Bloom and I had to have her too. These are my first real "official" pony toys (i.e. non-third-party).

Also noticed this really awesome set called the "Favourite Ponies" set, or summat to that effect, which had a BUNCH of really interesting brushables, including Vinyl Scratch and Nightmare Moon. I was very close to buying it, but decided to wait (which I hope I don't regret).

Cashier was really nice. She asked if I wanted a gift receipt, and when I said no, combined with the Pinkie Pie shirt I was wearing, she said (in a friendly tone), "Obviously you're a My Little Pony fan", I chuckled and said "What gave me away?" and she said "Just a wild guess." This exchange brought a huge smile to my face because I was always terrified of how people might react at me buying pony toys.

@@Gigapony, wait...there's a Cakes set? Dammit, Target, why must you disappoint me so? >_>

...And why the hell are there so many sets with repeat characters? I just ordered the Apple Family set for Big Mac and Granny Smith (and another AJ). If I want the EoH Friends set with Fluttershy, I'll get another Rarity, and now if I want the Cakes family, I'll get another Pinkie? That's too many Pinkie Pies, dammit!

EDIT:

Also, added a pre-order of the Groovin' Hooves (Octavia, Lyra + Lyrica Lilac) and Magic Pony Lesson (Cheerilee, Silver Spoon + Twist) sets to be released in August. Now I'll has me Big Mac, Spoony and Octavia, three of mah favorite background/supporting pones. Today was a good day...

Found these in another Dollar Store(I swear I'm having jump to alt sources because all my big stores are clogged up with the crystal blind bags and I have enough of those things)

That pun is so, so horrible, yet endearing in a way

@, eeyup, apparently it's one of the newer sets, I was really glad I was able to snag one as they seem to be a bit rare (at least in my area). I love all the figures in it, but I have to admit it was Nurse Redheart that won me over.

And I'm with you on the repeats. I'm now aiming to get a complete set of Mane 6 and CMC whilst avoiding repeats whenever possible and the planning involved is astronomical. Already got Apple Bloom who comes with AJ, and I think I'll kill two birds with one stone and get the new Flutters with Rarity. But man... I really want that set with Photo Finish and that also has a Rarity!

Now I can't claim to know more about business than a multinational corporation, but I have to question Hasbro's wisdom on this. Wouldn't they sell more sets if they all had unique characters? I can imagine many parents avoiding buying certain sets because "You've already got one of those", and certainly collectors would rather avoid repeats.
