I admit that I do use a little homebrew, nothing illegal though just for USB Loader GX so I do not have to switch discs to play a game anymore.

EDIT: portable drive issues mean i dont use that feature at this moment...

 

I Don’t play every game that much anymore, I play mostly Mario titles, Zelda, and Wii sports games

 

With Wii U coming soon i don’t think this collection will be changing much.

 

I was thinking of buying a Wii but i didn't end up buying it because my friends keep telling me that its not worth the money. That they got bored of it after a while.

Is that true???

 

if it has games you enjoy, its not a bad deal, admittedly it got a little stale lately do to lack of releases but it still fun,

it depends on what kind of gamer you are, if your a Mario, Zelda, nintendo kind of gamer, Wii is Great, if you

are a person who wants the best online experience, HD, etc and not much of a nintendo person you probably would prefer something like Xbox 360, PC, or PS3. Look at Wii's Library and see if it interests you, try it out somewhere.

 

In the end if your playing a game on a system and you enjoy it that's all that matters, Video Games are supposed to be

about having fun and enjoying yourself

Nonsense, there are tons of great games for the Wii. I'd wait for Wii U now if I didn't have a Wii already though, since it'll play Wii games plus it'll have plenty of new games coming.

Yes it is being released in the US November 18th, and December 8th in Japan kind of interesting that the US is getting it first, it is usually the other way around.

Underatted game... the atmosphere is peerless and the graphics are wonderful, and I like the chase sequences. Plus there's a lot of replayabilty thanks to the short length and multiple endings, not to mention all the subtle things that change depending how you play and the choices you make, really great adventure game, my only nitpick is that it isn't really that scary for an atmospheric horror game.

The WII is an abomination to gaming... I love Nintendo dearly, but the WII was a mistake. Yes, I have one, yes I have played many games on it, but I just do not lke motion gaming WHATSOEVER... Perhaps most of my anger at the WII comes from Zelda... once I knew about the Wii I just knew Zelda was doomed.. and it was. I played the twilight princess version on the WII... WTF NINTENDO HOW DO YOU SCREW UP SOMETHING SO SIMPLE AS A TRANSFER!? It was a mockery of Twilight Princess... And then... Skyward sword... My god... I have no right to say anything about this game because I have not beaten it yet, but from what i have seen so far of it... it is the worst Zelda game I ever had the displeasure of playing.

 

Super Mario Brothers WII... also did not like it.. it was also a mockery of the Mario world...

Super mario Galaxy.. I havnt beaten this one yet... It isnt a bad game, but I just couldnt really get myself into it....

 

Basicly, in my own deluded opinions, Nintendo is killing itself, ruining its good name... killing good franchises.

You'll have to find the best games The one's out now aren't great but the ones which were out closer to the release date were exceptionally good. You'll be looking at getting adventure games and local multiplayer games if that's what you're into. You should give it a try The controls with the analogue stick on the nunchuck are really smooth and gives you great control of what's happening on screen

 

Oh the Wii... it had so much potential being the successor to my favorite modern console (Gamecube)

Wii U seems although gimmicky, might be on the right track focusing on gameplay. I look forward to seeing how this fares out!

 

That's what I was thinking about the WiiU. Some have used it in a really gimmicky way (New Super Mario Bros. ¬_¬) But games like ZombiU and LoZ have used it really nicely.

...Man as far as Nintendo games go, New Super Mario Bros. has been proving to be the bane of my existence...

It just does not work! I get the point of bringing back Mario to classic sidescrolling platforming roots, but it just hasn't done much to impress me.

The fact that its Nintendo's chosen launch title really has me worried about the WiiU's launch day and future. But I'm sure there will be other titles for people to enjoy soon enough.

I read an article about the guy who's been in charge of releasing New Super Mario Bros. And he said (I can't believe it) that he's going to keep on releasing these because they work. Just makes me really mad!! :<< It's so uncreative, not like Nintendo at all, honestly.
