You should try out Zdaemon, if you arent already. Online Co-op, (T)DM and CTF. :)

heh yeah i used to play on Zdaemon, if i play doom online i usually play on Skulltag.

i prefer the survival/coop mode on skulltag over Zdaemon's one but id say Zdaemon have better Deathmatch because they didnt nerf the damn SSG -_-

EPIC TF2 GAMEPLAY!!! --->

Gran Turismo 2 and Syphon Filter were PS1 games that I adored as a kid. Though GT2 really frustrated me at times since I sometimes lost the races  And Syphon Filter was a big adventure! Do any of you guys know these games?

Yeah I read about it being very bad (and hard) in comparison to the other games, so hard that to make it easier the translation patch gave you some sort of ring at the beginning of the game to give you double exp or health or something, its been a while as I said.

Wait hold on a second?!

There's a translation patch that made it EASIER to play Mother 1?

Damn I need to find that. Mother 1 is a good RPG story-wise, I mean it's fantastic but the difficulty is literally Nintendo Hard.

Superman 64

Mario 64

Gex 64

And star wars rouge squadron were the games I played as a little kid

I actually played Superman 64 to find out how bad it was.

72 rings...72 rings...72 rings..../Lessonzero

Also HELLZ YEAH GEX! I LOVED Gex, he was so awesome.

I'll say right now since we're going into first games we ever played, mne was DUCKTALES on the NES.

Hell. Yes <3 also have something of a nostalgic tint for Zelda II on the NES even though I know it's not great.

Last week, I downloaded a SNES emulator and loaded up Mega Man X for the first time in some ten years. I nearly burst from the nostalgia. Also, Sam & Max Hit the Road was a pretty big part of my childhood.

So, many gamers must have that one game that they wish more people knew of, right?

There has to be at least one game in your collection which you feel could've been more popular, that more people could have enjoyed. Hopefully I can get a few responses and check out these lost masterpieces. Or, if you want to challenge a terrible review you believe a game has gotten, I'd like to hear.

Anyway, for me, the lost game series would have to be Timesplitters. Timesplitters 2 mainly. Apparently these games only exist for me and about three others. It was my first ever FPS which had brilliant gun-play, customisation and humor. The story was very gripping, and there's nothing sweeter than making it out of an exploding space station with literally a second to spare. Saying that, it did get positive reviews, so maybe there are more people with it out there.

I'm interested in hearing your tales of nostalgia too, thanks!

I used to like old games but then they became old games and everything worked badly in comparison to new games.

They were good. No-one is denying it.

Especially now when every game released is just a bad sequel.

But they still are crippled by the fact that they are old.

Inferior in technology in a format where the format IS technology.

Tl:Dr: Fallout

Loved Timesplitters. Anyway, Twisted Metal PS3 and R.U.S.E. both classics lost somewhere in time.

Praise the lord! Someone else has played it!

Also, Sweet Tooth is best psychotic clown.

I still prefer newer games. Definitely. But I think developers would be wise to try and touch upon those old roots again, especially with the new technology. Really need to finish Fallout. Think I'm aimlessly wandering around the super mutant base, still.

I still play my old PS1 games. Silent Hill 1, Twisted Metal 1 and 2, Crash Bandicoot, Koolah World, Croc, Gran Turismo, truly timeless, truly. If only they could know...

Hours of fun on with Crash, and I always wanted to get started with the Silent Hill series. I find the lack of actual scary games in my library disturbing.

How about the real classics, like Sierra's Quest for Glory series?

Before my time, I'm afraid. Probably wouldn't of been able to run on my terrible computer either. Looks like the basis for so many RPG's.

Mega Man...

I don't think anyone really cares much for the series anymore except for old fans. Capcom doesn't seem to care anymore either :(

Had a nice long life, though, hasn't it? I suppose all great things must come to an end. (Like Timesplitters *cries*)

Well, most of them can run on DOSBOX. Buggy as all hell, but at least they're entertaining.

Happy minion of The Fabulous One!

Although it's quite modern, I wish more people new of Spore.

And whatever happened to classic platform gaming, such as Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2, or Super Mario Bros 3?

The first two pokémon, mega man, ecc.

Oh, how nostalgic... sigh...
