Don't feel too bad about this. I have so many sweepstakes cards that I started receiving duplicate codes for both series. Not just duplicate cards - duplicate CODES.

 

No sweepstakes winners. I only know of one person who actually won something from a sweepstakes code. I think he was a part of this thread and won an autographed card.

 

So yeah they are suuuper rare.

I have most of my series one cards collected, and I'm working on series two. I must collect them all, but I'm not sure how I'll be able to with Enterplay announcing series three cards will be hitting shelves soon. For some reason, I've yet to find a regular Twilight Sparkle or Rarity for series one. 

 

Speaking of the first series, my local WalMart doesn't seem to be selling them anymore. Anyone know where else I could find them that isn't online? I don't want to pay too much for one card.

 

Also, if anyone could help me with this problem, it'd be appreciated. Most, if not all of my foil cards have been bent in some form or the other. I've always put my cards in sleeve protectors in binders, but only the foil ones bend. I know foil card are heavier, so I put those in individual card sleeves, and that didn't work either. They're currently in the middle of most of my series 2 cards, with a heavy book weighing the cards down to try to lessen the bends. Is there anything else I can do to ensure they don't end up worsely damaged?

50 cents for each one doesn't seem like a bad deal. I know that you pay 2 bucks for several cards but the value of each card goes up when you know what card it is, so really $1 for the two cards is a lot better than paying for a bunch of packs without having any luck finding what you want.

 

They have series 2 on there as well, individual cards and packs, as well as binders and box sets and stuff.

 

ebay is also good for getting individual cards. Shipping doesn't cost as much.

 

Do you need any other cards from series 1 or series 2? I have so many of them that if you gave me a list, I could get you a cheap price and send them all to you in an envelope. I'm not guaranteed to have everything that you need but I for sure have regular Twilight and Rarity from series 1.

 

As for the bending cards... eh, even the trading card guru is having trouble with this one. I have been flattening some extra foils for a good 2 months now and they're barely looking bent... the only thing I can think of is keep them far, far away from humid places. I had them in the basement at my house for about 20 minutes and that's when they first started looking bent to me. Humidity kills Settlers of Catan boards, so it probably kills trading cards too.

I know I still need a bunch of cards. I'll have to check the checklist and then let you know which ones I need. I know I need all the gold cards except Celestia and Cadence, as well as all the series two holo fillies, and the royal wedding series from series one.

 

I'll move them to my basement, then. I know that a complete set will be worth money a few years down the road, but I collect them to finish the entire sets.

There are two Fluttershy stickers on ebay right now, both for $10.  That sounds like a perfectly reasonable price to me.

Man, really wish I could keep on collecting but all my stores are finally out of stock of the cards.  They still have the binder, which I really want, but now they just carry dog tags.  I'm kinda surprised that out of all the packs I bought I only got two of the crystal heart puzzle picture card things.

This whole "getting married" thing really put a dent on my trading card spree, lol.

Howdy, y'all.  I got this from Enterplay's Cyber-Monday flash sale.  It arrived to me on Saturday.
 

 
These autographed cards were sent out at random, so there is really no idea who you'd be getting untill it arrives.  In my case, it turns out to be Pinkie Pie signed by her VA, Andrea Libman.
 
I would like to put this autographed Pinkie card up for trade.  If it had been a signed Fluttershy, I would've kept it, since Fluttershy is my fave pony.  But I decided that if I had gotten anyone else, I would be using it for trade.
 
You might be asking; why would WildAnime trade such a rare and highly valued card? (there's an autograph Pinkie card on ebay right now currently at over $100.)  Well, I have 2 answers for that.  For one, I need to locate some golds and promo cards to help finish out my Series 1 collection.  And second, I want to find a Series 1 Applejack promo card for my sister and surprise her with it for Christmas (AJ is her fave pony.)  Even though I still don't have the S1 AJ Promo myself, I would like to give a S1 AJ Promo to my sister for Christmas instead, rather than keep it for my own collection.  I already have a couple of promos that my sister doesn't have (S1 RD and Fluttershy)  and is likely that she will never be able to get those ones for herself.  Neither one of us will pay eBay prices for promos.  So I'm hoping I can use my autograph Andrea Libman Pinkie card to trade for what I'm looking for.

Get your gold cards on Toywiz. Or eBay. Trading your Pinkie Pie for a gold card is NOT a fair trade. You can buy gold cards from sellers for $20 each. That Pinkie Pie card is worth far more than that, as you could see.

 

Or you could trade the one Pinkie card for 5 gold cards, but that still doesn't seem fair because as I said before, you can get a gold card from a retailer like Toywiz. You can't get that Pinkie card from a retailer normally.

 

That is just my advice. If you want to trade it, trade it for another autograph card or a rare series 1 promo.

 

Have you checked eBay for an AJ series 1 promo recently? I do not know the prices but I think that AJ is way less expensive than Rarity, RD, Derpy, etc.

Yeah, they don't get much publicity from Enterplay, and EqD mentioned them like, once.   The good thing, though, is that you can see which sticker you're getting instead of buying a bunch of packs and hoping for the best. I'm probably going to check again this weekend, but they were just released, so I'm not desperate enough to buy just the sticker I'm missing for $10. After a couple of months with no luck though, I might be.

AJ isn't very expensive anymore. I got mine just a couple of weeks ago for $35. If you really don't want that Pinkie card, you may just want to put it on eBay, and buy most of the things you want with the money you get. It may not be in time for Christmas, but you'll get the full value of you card,and you don't have to risk getting ripped off here or on another trading site.
