Well, if Disney would allow her to be a Disney Princess, I'd say Megara from Hercules.  She is a princess, since Zeus is king of the gods, and Hercules is his son, making him a prince.  It my not work by original greek mythology standards, but it'll work for Disney XD

 

But since she's not a Disney Princess, I'd have to say my favorite is Ariel from The Little Mermaid.  I just love that whole movie, and Ariel was a great princess I think.

Either Rapunzel or Ariel. I can't really decide but I'm leaning towards Rapunzel on this one. I'm a sucker for blondes and her name reminds me of pretzels.

   That's easy, Nala, I know she would become queen to Simba, and she is a lioness, but she was his equal, in fact I will say this is the best paring of Disney characters, the human characters sometimes take favours, due to the Disney writers, unequally manipulating the plot or character development, to suit the female or male audience, however, I do admire Mulan, she did her duty to her country and family, and I have respect for that, plus she went through one hell of a boot camp, and I thought I had it rough in naval Recruit Training Command, so Mulan has earned my affection, from one serviceman to another.

Whoow that's quite a tall order as I'm a huge Disney maniac.

 

Well in terms of the Classic Disney line up. I really liked Ariel as a kid, her songs, her quest to see a new world, and pretty much introducing me to the concept of a mermaid. Mulan as well, awkward, unsure of herself, but also courageous and cunning.

 

In terms of the newer movies, I'd have to go with Tiana. She's a great role model not just for girls, but for people in general. Tied with Vanellope. Vanellope also could be sort of seen in the light of someone who overcomes a disability and the social fatigues that come with that.

There's a lot of people who can prove how overrated the movie is. I personally never got into it, I thought it was boring, bland and generic. The songs were annoying and lazy and the characters terrible.

 

I also hate it because it makes fun of the older Disney movies which I adore.

Meg from Hercules. She's a princess, dammit! She's kickass, punched Hades in the face, isn't a damsel in distress (She was actually negotiating a deal for Hell), is ridiculously sarcastic... yeah, she's really awesome. None of the other princesses come close to her amazing-ness.

Mulan is best Disney Princess. She actually did something really important (aka save China), and her movie was the only one I can think of where the romance takes a backseat to the plot, rather than driving the plot (which doesn't necessarily make it better, just different).

As much as i like all the disney princess movies, I feel like a lot of the other princesses are just waiting for something good to happen to them, but don't actually do anything to make it happen. Mulan does something, keeps her old dad outta the army, while saving people's lives, proving a women can be both powerful and attractive to guys, not submitting to Asian stereotypes, and being all around awesome.

I don't think anyone can objectively prove whether or not Frozen was overrated, since any argument to that effect would be couched in subjective commentary. In my estimation, it was a wonderful film worth watching more than once. So it goes.

 

On the matter of this topic in particular -- My avatar should give the game away. I would pick Elsa, if she qualified. I don't think she does, however, at least according to official marketing. I'd be happy to go with Anna, if votes may only be cast for characters who were princesses from start to finish. I'm willing to choose Rapunzel, though. She's absolutely adorkable.
