Yes, I love Pokémon. I'm eagerly awaiting X and Y. They're the only reason I'm buying a 3ds. I've been a pokemon fan as long as I can remember. I even own a crap ton of VHS tapes of the original series. Ahhh, memories.

Yes, but Pikachu is much more powerful, Weedles also faint very easy compared to these. They DO learn poison sting by default, however they are one of the weakest Pokemon ever made.

 

It has a base total of 195, like all the other caterpillar-based pokemon, 195. Pikachu's base total is 300, much more, and quite high for a basic.

 

Oh, I know.

 

Pikachu is still weaker than all the three starters, and they learn their non-normal moves before you'll even get to Pikachu.

But I am indeed a pokemon fan! I am more drawn to the older games, but Im still trying to get a 2DS so I can play X.. or Y. Havent decided which one yet.

 

My favorite pokemon would be Leafeon! They are very pretty and pretty hard to get since theyre only in Pearl/Diamond/Platnum that I know of discluding trading. So yeaj I dunno what else to put on here.

I'd say I'm a relaxed Pokemon fan. I've played Red, Gold, Sapphire, and I'm currently going through White 2, but I'm not going for the best team or the best possible combination of stats.

 

But that's why I like the Pokemon series. It has the deeper mechanics for the people who really want a challenge, but it's also so accessible that a person like me can play it at face value and have a blast.

Hey, has anyone had an awkward moment when they're trying to catch a legendary, then caught them easily with basic Pokéballs or a very small amount of great balls?

 

I caught Zygarde with a quick ball, I was pretty disappointed...

 

Oh! I also watched a video with MunchingOrange catching a Mewtwo with one quick ball.

He came out so prepared! -sigh- Same problem with me... Except I had a bit of a struggle with Mewtwo instead of him having a struggle with Zygarde... xD

it took me a quick ball and an ultra ball to catch mewtwo...after 5 resets. zygarde took 3 resets. these pokemon stalled so much they struggled themseves to death a couple of times

 

they might be easier to catch but I don't think its that much easier.

maybe some people are just really lucky /=|

Actually i sometimes try to purposely catch a legendary in a pokeball, just because ;p.

 

Only sometimes though.

 

Also quick balls have pretty high capture rates, so its not a total crazy shot, i catch lots of pokemon with quick balls.

 

Aswell as dusk balls.

I have like 75 Legit Master balls on my White 2 from just playing through my Diamond a massive amount of times back in the days, and transferring them all over after I'd finished the game...

Hoping to take them to X version too...

 

I'm quite a massive Pokemon fan myself... I've been playing through from Gen 1, and personally Gen 5 has to be my favourite, no, not for the Pokemon, but for Black/White 2's Storyline.

For Pokemon, it's a mix between Gen 2 and 3.

 

My favourite type has to be Grass somehow, and my favourite Pokemon consist of Lilligant, Roserade and Leafeon.

Dusk balls don't work for me at all when catching legendaries... I struggled a lot when trying to catch Mewtwo, I used the whole lot of my dusk balls, no shakes (or at least one), so I started using ultra balls, and it worked better for me.

 

I was such an idiot, I didn't know that Xerneas' catch rate was a lot higher than expected...

So, I used a master ball. -sigh- Hate me now. xD

I have been playing this this game since I was 6 years old, I am playing Firered (now Leafgreen) non-stop since then, and I am now 16 (10 years omg). I have played Emerald to Heart Gold, but stopped at BW because it was awful. Also played some spinoffs, Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team being my favorite game of all time. Stopped later at Gates to Infinity because it was awful.

 

Currently enjoying the old games, mostly Leafgreen, Heartgold and platinum (and Mystery Dungeon series)

 

Favorite pokemon is Rapidash, but I also like Charizard, Meganium, Lapras, Aerodactyl...

...I'm kind of a noob at Pokemon. Because I started Pokemon with X and Y. (Only because I was very girly when I little so I didn't play video games very much.) Funny story, I had gotten Pokemon X for my birthday, then I became obsessed with it ever since. All day, everyday, just playing around and completing the story and EV training and figuring out which types are super effective and weak to which. All because of Pokemon, I drifted away from the other things I was obsessed with... including the pony fandom. I am no longer a full-on brony because of Pokemon (and the fact that I realized that happy things like friendship make me want to barf). So... yeah... And I am okay with that. Don't worry, I haven't fully left the pony fandom yet (why am I even here anyways if I wasn't? XD), because I still like to roleplay as a pony and make art of my pony OCs. Sometimes I wish I was still a fan... then I remember about the fandom-

My favorite Pokemon of all time is Froslass. What a cutie! She is sort of the inspiration for my main OC, Snowi (yes, the pony in my profile picture). And just to cover things up, Ghost is my favorite Pokemon type, Sylveon is my favorite Eeveelution, Arceus is my favorite legendary, and Mega Banette is my favorite Mega Evolution. I have been in several little Gamestop tournaments before (losing each time to a guy using his little sister's pink DS... Different guys, same color DS -_- )

 

And for one really awesome thing that I don't think I will ever be able to replicate, I once beat Pokemon Black with just a Zoroark I hacked in at level 5 as a Zorua & leveled throughout the game in a Nuzlocke So many restarts...

My god I just played the living crap out of Pokemon X all night last night. I thought it would take me a while to complete the non-national pokedexs by sunday. At this rate if I keep playing like this by sunday I'll have all pokemon caught!
