Scootalove Vector

After being satisfied with my first vector (from practicing off of another vector), I decided to start making some of my own; starting with the new episode from today.

As requested by ~Chaotic Discord~, my second vector represents one of the biggest and best turns the show has took- the beginning of a sisterly relationship between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo. I'm proud to present my very own Scootalove vector! :3
 

 

EDIT: I worked on that thing for like, 6 hours straight and it was about 2 in the morning when I finished. I was pretty drowsy when I made the final touches, and I found a couple of layering derps. So, I just now revised it a little bit and now I think it is 100% perfect.

EDIT 2: I found out how to get a .png file of it, so I fixed it. This and other vectors in the future will be transparent, hi-res images.

She's getting WAY too friendly with Scootaloo.

Hm... I like it. Dashies look is a bit creepy tho. o_O It's a pitty you saved it in a highly compressed jpeg format. Png would've been a better choice, but whatever. It's cool.

Oh, for vectoring I use the InkPad app on my iPad. It's akin to Flash in the way you can draw things, add points, shapes, images, text, etc. In my opinion, it's the best, closest thing to the legendary Adobe product available for iOS.

 

But anyway, yeah, iOS doesn't really let you pick what file to save, nor does it really tell you. It's what I don't like about the operating system, its files are never specific enough when it comes to information. :/ I really wish they'd haul out a major iOS update that completely upgrades the iPad OS to a computer-esque level of file and program mangagement.

It looks more like a cut-out of a screenshot to me.

Yeah, making vectors using the program I use is way different than Inkscape. I don't use a computer, so I can't use that program. :x

 

The tutorial in general may be of good use, but everything else can't be changed. I can't do anything about the dumb file format, my iPad only saves that kind of image, and I hate non-transparency. I can't choose what to save it as, sadly. :c

Vectors are made because they have great high res png quality and transparent backgrounds. Jpg has low quality with non-transparent backgrounds.. So....What's this thing for? I mean what are going to use it for?? Or is it just a randfom request?

It was just a request made by my good friend ~Chaotic Discord~. :3 Nothing specified yet.

 

And anyway, isn't there a tool in Photoshop or Flash that makes areas transparent? So couldn't someone just make the surrounding area of transparent? I don't have the ability to do that afaik. :c

I looked at the app, and it says inkpad can save in many formats, including .png. 

 

And yes, someone could easily remove a background in photoshop, but there is nothing that can be done about the compression and jpeg artifacts that have occurred into saving the file as a jpg.

Well, it can convert it to many different file formats, but it only lets you email them for some odd reason. I can only save in jpeg, because that seems to be the only image photo file format iOS supports, unfortunately.

Oh my, Scootaloo's face... that is a face that says, "Is this really happening?" and I am fairly certain that that is the same face that each and every brony made when Scootalove became canon!!!  HNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!     

 

Fantastic work Nascarfan, once again, another high quality vector!!!  Can't wait to see what else you come up with in the coming weeks, and thank you for providing me with my daily dose of D'AWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

This is sooo adorable. My eyes went soo big when I saw this scene. It touched me spiritually because of despite not from the same family, they both went through the same thing AND how quickly the bond was started.
