Will rainbow dash ever join the wonderbolts?

Yeah, like everyone else is saying, I gotta agree, that's probably last episode material, and heaven forbid we start seriously discussing THAT anytime soon! Next season's going to be crucial for the show, because (1) Lauren Faust will no longer be executive producer, and (2) I have a theory that a show, even a critically acclaimed show, is only assured of a very long life span (i.e. 5+ seasons) once it makes it past the season 3 hump with critical acclaim and success. Case in point: Spectacular Spiderman; that poor show was probably the best animated Spiderman show I've ever seen, but right after the ending of it's 2nd season, what does Disney do? It pulls the plug on the show; no reason, no explanation given whatsoever. Granted, that's a very rare and bizarre example, but I do feel that if instead it had had 3 successful seasons at least, Disney wouldn't have pulled the plug on it after the third season like it decided to after the second, and I think the same holds true for any show. Course, this could just be the rantings of some half-wit college student who should be in bed right now, but hey, ya never know!

Due to all capabilities that Rainbow Dash has, I'm surprised that Wonderbolts didn't ask her if they could join her team. Something like "Rainbow Bolts".

I think it's going to be one of those things like Spike and Rarity getting toegther, the Cutie Mark Crusaders gettting their cutie marks, where it won't happen due to a number of differant reasons though you can't really compare the three as they are totally differant situtations one or more might get answered eventually because it has gotten dragged on for to long like with getting their cutie marks for example.

I think this question is along the same question as "Will the CMC ever get their cutie marks." I think it's sort of part of their character and interesting that they are still on the verge of achieving their goals, so I doubt she'll join the wonderbolts any time soon. Maybe by the end of the show at least. Plus, if she joined the wonderbolts then she'll be in canterlot with them constantly practicing, she'll never have time to hang out with the rest of the mane 6.

Rainbow Dash is BETTER then the Wonderbolts. Can any of them do a Sonic Rainboom? I think not! I see Rainbow Dash becoming head of the Royal Canterlot Air Brigade. She would proudly serve to protect the Princess!

 

Well, they are just as fast if not faster, and I think the only reason the can't is because none of them is effectevly rainbow-coloured. But I see your point.

 

I agree with most people, either she's offered the opportunity but decides to stick around her friends, or does in the last episode/movie.

I don't think the rainbow coloring is an actual prerequisite. I always thought that it took a particular mindset to pull one off. I don't think RD would want to leave her friends though.

Don't forget Rainbow is the Element of loyalty don't forget so she woulden't chose anything even the wonderbolts over her friends, unless they break up and go their seperate ways but that would kinda be a sad ending for the series seeing the whole show is about friendship.

Like others have said, I think there will be a chance for her to join the WB but she'll decline. I actually wrote about that situation in my story 'Macintosh', but her reasoning for staying, while out of loyalty, ended up being a little different than even she expected.

I figure everything will happen at the final episode.

• The CMC will get their cutie marks
• Fluttershy will ACTUALLY become anti shy (cause let's face it, her episodes don't do anything to that)
• Dash will join the Wonderbolts
• Twilight's friendship quest will end and either be free from Celestia, or move back to Canterlot with her
• Spike will grow up and leave everypony
• and Luna will be in it

She probably would join the wonderbolts. Considering they have seen RD do the sonic rainboom, saved their lives, and has been with and around them countless other times, then i am pretty sure she will join them. After all, who can forget this?

I honestly think that in the next episode/movie she will join the wonderbolts because she has dreamed to join them since she was a filly,thats how she earned her cutie mark, beliveing she could make it. And by the looks of the youtube videos that have the same graphes of the real movie Soarin has a crush on Dash and aventually get together, but Spitfire is jealous..... I think XD. Plz dont judge me or write any unpositive replys because this is just what I think is going to happen.

Well, i have a feeling she could join the Wonderbolts, i mean it wouldn't mean she would have to abandon her friends. She would just be a bit more busy, i could see it happening in the future
