Will rainbow dash ever join the wonderbolts?

She's probably too immature to be part of them. While she's free spirited and all, i don't think she would show up for training, the joy of flying with the wonderbolts would lose it's joy.

This could theoretically be possible. Considering how some fans of the show have been able to make their own flash animations, the brony community could continue the show even after it "officially" ends.

 

As for her joining the wonderbolts, I'm going to make use of the argument thats mentioned in the fanfic Equestria Total War. Its not that the Wonderbolts don't want her to join, they do, its just that Celestia is the one vetoing it due to the fact that Rainbow Dash is the element of Loyalty.

 

That makes sense, why have someone join some special group that does stuff when they be needed to fight some super villian, tough schedule for rainbow dash.

If winning the "Best Young Flier" competition, being recognized by Celestia herself as "the best flier in Equestria", saving the lives of 3 current members and being the only pegasus alive able to perform a legendary move like the Sonic Rainboom (all on the same day, no less) doesn't qualify you for the Wonderbolts, I would have to wonder what would. Rainbow Dash has saved three of the wonderbolts lives, she saved soarin's pie, she helped save equestria three times and she is the only pegasus known to perform a sonic rainboom and did she perform a sonic rainboom once nope at least three times and she now has it to a point where she can seemingly perform one when ever she wants. So why have the wonderbolts not asked he to be a part of their team?

Alright, guys (And Ladies...) Rainbow dash has been talking about joining the wonderbolts since episode 1, and she hasnt shut up about it since. since the day she was born, she has...

 

-Done 3 sonic rainbooms

-Saved Spitfires life.

-Saved soarins pie

-Brought water to cloudsdale

-Saved all of equestria from the wrath of nightmare moon and the cunning cleverness of discord.

-inherited the element of loyalty

 

Am I the only one that thinks it rather odd that the wonderbolts haven't BEGGED her to be in their club?

Maybe theres a arbitrary age restriction or something.

Lots of being a skilled flyer is just discipline and knowledge, not just stunts and the gumption to pull them off.

This graph is about the "angle of attack" for takeoffs. You have to be able to do the math behind the numbers on that thing in your head, quite literally on the fly.

I mean if Rainbow Dash joins she won't have as much time with her friends and that would take away from the show. and I think they're keeping up this never give up, reach for your goals message behind Rainbow Dash that they want to keep as long as possible.

I still stick to my 'she's too immature' theory. While the Wonderbolts are about flawless teamwork and compromise, Dash still has a big desire to look out for #1, and on top of that, can easily sacrifice sportsmanship and resort to cheating in order to win, as she's shown lots of times. I mean honestly, it's either that or that she's too young *which I don't buy as easily*, because she clearly has enough talent to match if not surpass members of the Wonderbolts, so it's not talent-related whatsoever.
