I have every single one of 649 Pokemon in my Pokemon White. Every. Single. One. It bummed me out how I couldn't transport any of my Pokemanz from Blue or Yellow to my DS :c

 

It involved massive trading, many, many transports through GBA games onto my DS, and probably a good 1/3 of my life into it too.

 

I only used Action Replay or Gamesharks to get event items, because there's no way in hell I can go to an even that happened in 2002. Oh, and for Genesect in White.

Close to 600 hours played on my Pokemon Gold.

Y'all know how I do. 

You can glitch mew in via pokemon yellow by using the fly function before a trainer can walk to you etc etc (google it)

so I never had to 'cheat' to complete (;

Oh my, I haven't played Pokemon in years...if I remember correctly, I have ONE left to go in Pokemon Ruby. Just one. I have legitimate versions of all 386 (minus one) of everything, although I question the legitimacy of my Celebi (for obvious reasons).

My lack of completion is because I could never find anyone with Pokemon Sapphire - and that single Pokemon that remains is Lunatone I believe.

One of these days I'll complete it. (If I can find the game...)

Ah, yes, I've completed the pokedex for Red twice.  The first time I used Missingno to glitch in infinite Rare Candies to evolve pokemon I didn't feel like training.  I felt bad about that, so the second time I didn't use Missingno.  The only glitch I intentionally used was the one that allows you to find a wild mew (I also used it to obtain omanyte and pinsir because I had no other way of obtaining them...).  I had also made the (ridiculously stupid) decision that all of my pokemon would be within 5 levels of each other, whether I was using them in battle or not (did you know that Red stops clocking your hours played at exactly 255 hours?).  The only pokemon I failed with there was ditto, which I had every intention of training until I accidentally set off a glitch that replaces the move Transform with an unnamed move of the COOLTRAINER type, has a max PP of 13 (but will always be set to 0 unless you use an Ether), and destroys the universe (freezes the game) if you use it...  It was kind of untrainable after that point...

I completed the Sinnoh dex back in Pearl and im working on completing the national dex in White 2 so I can get the item that raises the chances of encountering a shiny Pokemon and so I can say I've captured every Pokemon so far. I'm trying to do it before 6th gen comes along because I don't need another 100 of these things added on before I can do this once.

I did it in HeartGold, it took about forever but wasn't too bad, except all the hatching...

It was about 95% legitimate(hey, at least Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi were, who fro most people probably wouldn't be, and Celebi was the very last one).

I finished my Sapphire dex not too long ago. Fishing for a Horsea with a Dragon Scale (5% chance of a wild one holding it) along the lines of Slateport's harbour was sorta brutal.

 

And don't even get me STARTED on Feebas. And then Milotic... had to plant oran berries like hell to maximize beauty.

I know how it feels feebas was a hard one, so was crobat with the friendship max thing but worth it to see 100% complete. But clampearls evolutions was hard and nothing else really other then the special event ones, which I got from a special event...
