Although on the other hand I noticed some older renders that weren't completely kosher, perhaps use some more ticks inside Photoshop to finish the eyes. Like the very first one, a Spike render, you can notice the eyes are off.

Also I need an idea for a creative name for the applebloom one, I was thinking of making a William Tell reference, but I couldn't think of any good ones yet...
