Okay Weird Al had a episode with Pinkie Pie and that just so happens to be my favorite episode of the entire show.... NOW PLEASE make an episode with Andrew WK & Pinkie Pie it makes so much sense! Andrew WK is pretty much Pinkie Pie as a human and he is a awesome musician. If any show producer sees this please consider this as an episode idea :3 please! I mean they had an episode of AWK on Uncle Grandpa so why not MLP ?

So, I have to admit it was spectacular seeing so much Pink today. I'll be gathering all the posters and will do the drawing sometime tomorrow (there are a LOT of pager]s to go through ... so ... much ... wow). I'll PM the winners when it occurs.

I've mentioned on more than a few occasions that I find Pinkie endearing because she represents a connection to the old school zany characters like Bugs Bunny and newer characters like the Animaniacs. Add a few layers of depth and you have Pinkie. What I may not have said before is that I find Pinkie one of the most inspirational characters on the show. At the core of Pinkie is a character who was a dreamer, but to me was a pony who could not name her yearning. Living a childhood knowing something isn't quite right, desperate for that elusive quality of life that seemed to be missing. Feeling out of place and not in sync with yourself is something many of us can relate to a little.

 

Flash forward to her finding her destiny, and that life affirming passion of experience called laughter, and you still have a marvelous lesson. Even though a portion of her youth was spent in yearning on the Rock Farm, she never looks back at this time with apathy or even a distant heart. Her love for her family is ever apparent, and she even holds pride of her time on the farm. A typical person with a negative experience in early life, who finds the strength to rise above it, will usually run from their past. Not Ms. Pie. She not only shows us that one can find happiness and laughter even in pressing sadness, but also find peace and joy with the important aspects. Too often we throw the baby out with the bath water, escaping our past without holding onto those aspects of joy that rightfully should be carried with us. That is what I take away from this adorable pink pony. Find yourself without losing yourself. 

 

Not to mention her element actually requires direct acknowledgement of success for her to feel complete. One can be generous, kind, honest, and even loyal without reciprocation ... but it's hard to represent laughter without it being appreciated. 

 

These reasons elevate this character to classic status.
