Well...now that i'm the poster number 1000,i should say a few words...

 

First of all,this Fan club is like a 2nd home to me *sniff*

When i first entered the bronydom,this club had 20 pages,and now! Look at it!!!Look!

We have over 1000 posts!The club of the main target of the haters,the most populated :')

Even when those haters says all those bad things about Rarity,i still believe on her fabulosity ,who made me to go forward,and allowing me to say "I'm a rarity fan! I'm a bit more of Applejack,but that's not the thing"

 

What i say is that...nothing of this would have happened without a motherbucking dude like...

My best friend matches up with Rarity's personality up to a tee, cept he's male.  Even the minor life details; blue eyes, one younger sibling, has a cat ect.  He's not too happy about all the similarities though.  He almost choked when he found out that Rarity plays also piano in EQG 2.

Hmmm...a lot of people want to class her into having musical preferences that fall into classical categories, like baroque, or something. I dunno why, to be honest; that's not really showing much attention to her character past "oh, hey, she likes fancy things, so she must like fancy muzik "

 

Personally, I can see her into being into Soul and Funk like you said, but personally, I see it being something you can dance to. I've always thought of Rares being the type of girl who wants to be a lady and keep up with fashion, as we all know, but will sometimes give in to herself and would have something like a secret stash of hella expensive dark chocolate that she'll just gorge herself on every once in a while when no one's around I can see her having a some classical on her iPod, but I also can see her listening to that stuff you can get up and jump around to, but she'd only listen to that when no one was looking

Always possible. After all, humans are highly nuanced and the Mane 6, while stereotypes, also reflect elements of one another to some extent, which is why they're such strong characters. In and of themselves, they're all incredibly human, which is more than some fictional characters can say. You may have a strong aesthetic sense that just doesn't express itself through fashion, but through music or even just in general outlook. You may be socially keen even if you don't throw 'daaaahling' and accents around. You may be prone to overreacting, even if you're not totally adorable while doing so.

 

I mean, I can find a bit of myself in every member of the Mane Six, to be honest. I think we all can.

I remember the two of them had a great dynamic in that episode, though  

 

I'd like to see more of Rarity and Pinkie together, and also more of Rarity and RD Might bridge the gap I've noticed we have with the RD fans if Rares and RD got an episode together
