oh my, I've been away from this fanclub for a while (I'd call it a short while, maybe 2 weeks) but the amount of pages built over that period is overwhelming, I had to catch up on probably 80 pages of content, and I saw them all, I maybe didn't read everything, but I saw every single post till the end.

 

phew I'm tired...

 

(is it me, or mlpforums not always open up, I have to refresh several times till it work, but most of the time i just give up)

there were so many things i felt like quoting but they were like super old posts so it would be pointless to revive old drama, so instead I'll talk about what I've found interesting:

 

 

 

• I'm a Rarity fan as much as the guy next to me, but watching it just to expect Rarity is just pointless, I enjoy the show as a whole, not only for Rarity, I like all the ponies and the concept of Equestria, but i love Rarity. I can enjoy Rarity as much as I can enjoy Rainbow Dash, she has some pretty good episodes too!
• I'll be honest, I don't like canonxfanon shipping because I know each one of us have our own headcanons in our heads, and when someone talks about how wonderful that is, it can let other down. I have the thinking of if it didn't happen in the show, then it's not true. There's a guy on dA named kydose and his OC has the same name, I'm pretty sure many of you have seen him cuz he always ship his OC with Rarity and he makes that happen with the power of money. I really like the art that he commissions, because he gets the best artists, but something doesn't rub me the right way, I don't like seeing Rarity being paired with his OC, and that's why i don't ship any of my oc's with Rarity, because i feel like that won't ever be canon and also i can hurt someone's feelings. I dunno it may be just me. So Ghosty, I want to know how your commission turns out, and you're free to commission whatever you want it's your money but I want this group to enjoy Rarity together as fans.
• I've seen some convo about Digibro popping out, and I usually like his stuff because he has an amazing voice, I love his voice, also he has done some pretty good analysis, but for the season finale he messed up BIG TIME. He hated it for the wrong reasosns, and I know the episodes had some holes in it, and some shit going on but it wasn't as bad as he put it. This was the best finale EVER! doesn't matter, I wasn't a subscriber of his anyway.

how you guys enjoyed the finale? it was EPIC AWESOME! did you guys notice some raspiness on Rarity's voice, I think Tabitha was a bit sick when she recorded her lines, but I think she soinded sooooo good, she sounded like more mature, I liked that subtle raspiness in her voice, I want more of that.

Also you noticed when they were looking at Twilight's castle, just when Rarity says 'sweet Celestia' her snout actually disappears just before the scene changed to focus on her? I don't know why I noticed that so quickly ahah 

 

oh, one of the worst parts of the episode. The rainbow power ponies  they all look awful, especially Rarity and Fluttershy, I actually liked the original designs better, I don't know why they had to put puffy extentions on them. It looked so wrong, and the first thing that I thought when I saw them was .....toys

oh! and don't forget the Rarijack moments in the finale, even in the finale we get Rarijack, thank you Meghan!!! 

 

Anyway, fandom is very creative and fixed Rarity's rainbow design

I reckon the one in the banner is fanmade, however if it is, it was definitelly made off of this...

 

 

this was hasbro's official promo for the rainbow power toys, it was shown at the beginning of season 4 so they spoiled the whole season for us.

To be honest these designs were really cool even if was just to sell more toys, I don't know what the designers were thinking when they did that

As do I, and, there's been no problem with that We get on topics like Digi and Rainbow Power every now and again, yes, but even those conversations stem from something Rarity related  

 

We've got over 5,000 posts and counting, and all of them stem from Rarity in some way or another. No problems of any sort; the biggest problems we have are when we're talking about Rarity haters Everyone here is pretty harmonious and everything we talk about has Rarity at the heart of the convo, so I don't think my commissioning Rarighost art has any effect on the fanclub, since we've moved far past that subject without any real friction

Am I the only one who liked the 2-tails thing I mean, I thought it was beautiful. I still like the original design we see in the banner quite a bit, even more than the 2-tails/huge mane we saw in the show, but I honestly enjoyed the style she had more than any of the others Guess I'm just weird like that

I agree with ya, I absolutelly hated her, Twilight was the only one who looked sort of decent, because her mane wasn't soo puffy, it was just long.
