Yes, I do mean that one. The Doctor's facial expressions in it are priceless, especially where he blushes after walking in on her. I wonder if lots males would have their minds go right to what he was probably thinking if/when they walk in on a scenario like that.

I'm a fan of Derpy! wish she had more merchandise, as far as actual pony toys/ figures/ collectibles go. (figures only, I have a Derpy pocket pop, Mystery Mini, and Funko Vinyl figure) ): 

She's adorable, but I REALLY dislike how most fans portray her as an outright idiot- which I don't think is fair, just because she's a little ditzy and clumsy.

I can't believe how long it's taken me to post here, because I absolutely adore Derpy Hooves. She's so cute, and I love how she's become such a symbol for this fandom, to show that everyone can be accepted and that it's ok to be different, even if you look different or you mess up sometimes.

 

I will say though, that it makes me sad to see that some people find Derpy to be offensive. I don't like how people assume she's meant to represent a mentally disabled character because she has a funny voice and acts silly, as if all mentally disabled people are silly caricatures and making mistakes is the hallmark trait of disability. I also don't like how her name is treated as a slur, because all that does is force-associate the word "derp" with ableism when it wasn't created that way, giving the actual ableists yet another term to use against us instead of letting us claim the word before that happens. Much like words like "stupid", saying that this word is inherently ableist does nothing more than say that you think making mistakes or acting dumb is all mentally disabled people do.

 

So, I have a bittersweet love of the muffin mare, I guess. Guess I had a little bit of a rant in me, sorry about that...

Fanfictions do to portray characters in painfully inaccurate ways sometimes, I'll certainly give you that (and I would know, I'm a Fluttershy fan!). There is hope though, some fanfictions can portray her quite well. Here, I'll even find one (rummages through saved fimfics)

In S4 looks like Equestrian games makes her more closely with M6 and second half of season we seen her often and close. Helps prepare Dashies birthday, walks in first front to admire Twily-s new castle etc.
