What is the coolest vacation you have ever been on?

America to Florida ! Being a UK brony, it is very very very rare that anyone form the UK can get the chance to go to America.

 

We went to florida to al;l of the theme parks and then spent a week on the beach on the west side of Florida, chilling in sea water as warm as bathwater. Never felt or seen anything like the Storms or the heat there, right from when you get off the plane it hits you in the face and it's crazy!

 

I love it so much though! America is my fav place to visit It's just so good!

 

I do want to go to japan one day though, I love there culture and I watch so much anime. I ahve started learning some Japanese despite probably never needing to use it... lol

I go to Mexico a lot. Not only because I like nearby the border, but there's literally a ton to do there, especially in Baja California. I've been everywhere in Baja, including Cabo San Lucas, and Ensenada. Both are great places. \o/

 

Also vacationed in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix before as well. 

 

My dream vacation is to visit Italy. I've been wanting to go there since I was younger.

Germany and Ireland in 1996 was my most memorable. Though this current one I'm on is appealing ... I resolved to just relax all week. First time in years that I had that opportunity. Staycations are somethings the best vacations.

I suppose my favorite would be 18 years ago when I went to visit some family in Hawaii. I loved the food, the atmosphere and everything else the only thing I didn't like was that it was this monsoon that happened while I was there and the mosquitos.

 

Ooo, I always wanted to go to Hawaii. The farthest I've ever been was in Florida, which was also fun

Hehe, tell me about it. I plan to go to Japan between now and 4 years. I wanna go at least once, it would seem like such a fun time ^^

Heheh, I just realized your question has a double meaning xD. My "coolest" vacation was a band trip to Arizona in the winter; we were all freezing and had to cuddle close for warmth :I'mCold:!! This guy from Pennsylvania wasn't complaining and even had his coat off . But alas, it was still pfun.

Just last year when I went to the island of Kefalonia, Greece. As someone who has never been to a foreign non-English-speaking country, I found it quite surprising just how comfortable my visit once, besides the scorching heat. I wasn't expecting most of the people there to know English so well, and how far their society has come in comparison to ours.

 

Also, how often do you come across a bottle opener shaped like a penis?

 

I also went to the United States 3 times to visit some family in California and Arizona. Since I am so fascinated with American culture, I can't help but try to make more and more of each visit.

Coolest vacation would have to be China. Spent two weeks there, traveling around, seeing all the good stuff. Beautiful country (Maybe not Beijing). So much history (I'm a sucker for history)

 

My favorite would have to be Paris though, been there twice, would love to go back many times. Amazing city to just walk around in. Love it

 

Amsterdam is a really cool city too!

The time I went to visit my mom's side of the family in Colorado. My aunt ownes a cabin that was 8,000ft above sea level, I vomited three times btw. Other than that everything was great (minus the awful internet connection), especially the scenary.

Coolest holiday I have ever been on? Well I have been on a few. I have been to many different counties around Ireland but the most memorable one was the time we went up to Mayo and my dad drove into the lake so we had to call the police, the AA, the firemen and my uncle.That was pretty cool since I got to get a lift off the firemen.

Firstly I must note, that I'm from Poland in Europe, not from USA.

 

Fandom holidays in 2012

1. IV Pozna? Ponymeet 13-15 June

 

 

It started with Fourth Ponymeet in Pozna? (PL: IV Pozna?ski Ponymeet). Then it was the biggest ponymeet in Poland ever - there were more than 130 of Bronies & Pegasisters from whole country. It was 3 days with prelections in the rented school, then a whole party in the rented house. The most amazing ponymeet ever, because later there were only ponymeet's like conventions - prelections, sleeprooms, something to buy, nothing more. In Pozna? was a big party, thanks that people got to known each other even better and sometimes there were new friendships, which are even today!

And funfact 1 - in Poland we like make a ponyfication of city names, choose patrons for the cities (only for those, where are local fandoms). Pozna? because of their colours, fitting name and a lot of their Bronies, is named LUNA?.

Funfact 2 - After ponymeet me and some of my friend have stayed to the end of the week in the Pozna?, because of after-party and willing to go to see the city and their attractives like the Imperial Castle, Zoo or legendary Pozna?'s goats - if you will be interested, I can write something more about the last one.

Funfact 3 - during those meetup organizators decided to order a pizza for everybody (with their money of course, it isn't volunteer! ). Imagine a reaction of the pizza restaurant, when via phone they heard "We want to order 43 pizza's!"

 

Other fact - on the photo I'm first guy from the right. After those ponymeet I've decided to grow hair and change my clothes style. So now I'm so different. My change was thanks fandom, which helped me to discover my true self.

 

Other fact 2 - we had a prelection about Bronycon 2012. Unfortunately most of Polish cannot join to the Bronycon - there are problems with visa to USA, money (pay for fly, hotel and Bronycon). So we were happy to hear a story from the only one guy, who made it and traveled from Poland (Cracow) to New York to convention and he made his best for Polish fandom, for example he recorded best wishes from Lauren Faust to us!

 

After Pozna? I've visited my family in Silesia and Podlasie. I love travelling, so you can guess how I was excited.

 

2. Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn 1-3 August.

 

Woodstock is a free-opened (without enter price) rock and metal festival. With help of some people I've organised a brony camp there, where - connecting with Furries - were 40 people. Now brony camp on Woodstock is a tradition.

Fantastic music, fantastic climate... just relax! During some days I was rested like after 2 weeks in hot country like Greece or Egypt

 

3. Zgon (Decease) in Wroc?aw/Breslau 4-8 August

A big private party of Bronies. It was longer - nearly 2 weeks, but I've been only 3 days. Later I went for one con, which I regret, but shhh!

Eurotrip 2014 (plans)

 

The coolest vacation in my life I'm already planning - I had to start this in June, but thanks my university etc. I had to start this in 23rd August or later.

I'm planning travelling with hitch-hiking, visiting Berlin (Germany), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Paris (France), Saturnia, Rome, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Florence, Venice (Italy) and Vienna (Austria), maybe Bratislava (Slovakia) too.

I went to the US for the first time last year in Florida with my whole family and one of my best friends. I even met some friends I've known online for a couple years over there! We went do Disney World and Universal Studios. Was definitely one of the, or if not, the best 10 days of my life.

The best vacation I've been on is taking my kids to Great Wolf Lodge this past Christmas break. They had so much fun, and still talk about it every day lol they want to go back again this Christmas
