I have a general playlist that gets me going when drawing... as for writing the same would apply for me. Although having a page of brainstormed ideas helps a bit too.

Holy shit, I remember playing that a long time ago.

 

I had this all-in-one game controller with 120-something old games stored on it, and that was one of them.

coincidentally, i also got it with one of those plug 'n play controllers. though honestly i think i might've preferred using a controller than a joystick.
