Roman from GTA 4 "Cousin you want to go bowling?" NO I DONT WANT TO GO FUCKING BOWLING! If I wanted to go bowling with someone I would go in real life I just want to get on with the fun part of the game. In fact screw Roman I hate literally every single one of your "Friends" in GTA 4.

THIS BEETLE.

 

If you have ever played Donkey Kong 64, then you know who I am talking about. For those of you who don't, here's a quick synopsis:

So Tiny Kong (the little one in the overalls) needs to race this here beetle down a slide to get the Golden Banana from it (I don't even know if it's a boy or a girl). Here's the thing: you need to get 50 coins AND win the race. Simple, right?  WRONG! This beetle plays dirty, hitting you and knocking you off the slide every chance it gets...and when you lose, it has the MOST annoying laugh I have ever heard! High-pitched, squeaky and repetitive. It took me at least 50 tries to beat this level as a kid and believe me, I rage quitted a few times after hearing it's laugh.

 

Fast forward to 15:15, and you'll see what I mean by annoying laughter.

Margo from Ys: The Oath in Felghana.  I simply hated her voice.  You can keep Resident Evil 1, that was the worst game voice acting I've heard.

I've never played Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, but I've never liked Princess Elise. I am an ex-fan of Sonic from 5-10 years ago and when I used to watch YouTube videos of her, she always angered me.

Hey, if you're gonna count the barrel as a character... I'm so counting the Pit Of Death in Sonic 2 Mystic Caves zone as one. You know the one; you're running along the bottom when suddenly you fall into it... and there's no way out! Even Super Sonic can't get out; all you can do is just stand there and wait for your rings to run out and die. -.-

I have to admit, that guy is annoying. All they tell you is that he needs is coffee before you can pass, I was like what am i supposed to do? where do I even get coffee ?

 

That and the fact that he is a old man, why is he lying in the road because he needs coffee ?!?

In the japanese version he was drunk and had a hangover, but we could not have that affecting our young brilliant minds that we call americans....

I honestly can't stand any of the lead protagonists from Final Fantasy 7 and beyond. They're either too brooding, too femmy, or too whiny for my tastes. I say either give us male leads that aren't IMPOSSIBLE for most male gamers to identify with, or give us some strong and well-developed female leads like Terra and Celes from FF6.

YES! Laguna is friggin' AWESOME. Can't get enough of his machine gun and his one-liners that always fall flat and cause his buddies to facepalm. XD

Almost every character from Final Fantasy XIII.

 

Lightning was always 'Grr, I'm a soldier'. Hope was always 'Meh, I hate everything'. Vanille was always 'Yay! I LOVE everything!'. Snow was always 'YEAH! I'm a hero! We can do this YEAH!' Fang was always.....uninteresting.

 

Sazh was the only character that wasn't tied to a clichè throughout the entire game. Hence why I did not finish it.

 

XIII-2 only got worse, with less characters somehow. Both of the main characters basically had Snow's attitude throughout the entire game.

From GTA IV, he is always complaining, lying, and a very despicable character. Sometimes, he annoyed me to death while I was playing the campaign. He just likes to complain a lot.

My most hated video game character would have to be Bill Hawks from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. I hate him so much, as he is a complete ***hole and never gets what he deserves. See spoiler below for details.

 

 

Bill Hawks was partners with his friend, Dmitri, who had been working with Bill on a time machine. Bill wanted to test the project out on Claire, Professor Layton's girlfriend and Dmitri's crush, but Dmitri begged Bill to not test out the time machine, as he had found a flaw in the time machine. But Bill ignored him because he had been offered a large sum of money for the testing of the prototype. When he tested out the time machine, it exploded, causing the death of all the workers for the time machine, Claire, and all of Dmitri's life's work. Two of the victims of the explosion were the parents of a young boy named Clive. Dmitri lost everything, but Bill goes without consequences. And guess what he gets to be now?

In the near future, Dmitri has created another time machine and has decided to test it out on Bill Hawks, who is now the prime minister of London. The time machine explodes as well and Bill disappears. This had been part of a plan set up by Clive, who is now a young adult, to get revenge on Bill for the death of his parents. He convinces Dmitri to help him by saying that Claire wasn't killed and was actually sent into the future. This is true though, but Claire has a limited time to be there before she disappears forever. Claude succeeds in capturing Bill and attempts to destroy London. He is, of course, stopped by Professor Layton, and is arrested. But Clive recognizes his mistakes and allows himself to be arrested. It is what Bill says next that really makes me hate him:

Hmph! Criminals like him make he think the whole world has gone mad. Despicable, just despicable."

But I love what the police officer says to this:

"Yes, people can be often be blinded by their own motivations that they lose sight of the damage they do. But criminals aren't the only blind ones."

Vinnie Gognitti from Max Payne 2.

They managed to somehow get him to put on this costume that is rigged with explosives. You have to protect him while both of you escape waves of guys shooting at both you and Vinnie.

My most hated videogame character is Clive, from Professor Layton and the lost/unwound future. His motive is simple enough: revenge on the scientists who killed his parents when their prototype time machine blew up. However, he goes a bit OTT with his methods. He hires someone to effectively remove the Prime minister (who was one of the scientists), gets his foster parents who own a clock shop to install a mine lift in their shop, disguising it as a time machine, then creating a version of London but 10 years in the future in a giant cave underneath London, with people under there and everything (even the Thames, the London Underground, and a casino), disguising himself as Luke, layton's assistant, but from the future, with the person who was told to remove the Prime Minister from the Present disguised as a corrupt version of Layton from the future. Fast forward a bit, when Layton figures out what is really happening, Clive goes into the lighthouse of "Future London" which is really a moving fortress if destruction, goes topside and tries destroying all of London, before it selfdestructs, with the "sister" of Layton's love interest saving Clive, before the fortress destroys everything in the "future" London. Then someone who was the test subject for the time machine that killed clives's parents somehow travels back in time and gets blown up. Also, Clive was only given 25 years in jail. He should've been given 100 years in jail, at least.

Well, Clive had recognized he was wrong at the end and accepted his punishment, which is very mature of him. Also, it wasn't his fault that Professor Layton's love interest disappeared. I think 25 years is good enough for him. It's Bill Hawks who ought to get 100 years in jail, but unfortunately, he never did anything illegal.
