I made this animated GIF after watching episode 14 of the Original Astro Boy series from 1963. It was titled "One Million Mammoth Snails". It was about a scientist that learned how to grow plants to gigantic size. Of course he then moved onto snails!

 

I know it's kinda stupid, but it amused me no end!

Today I watched episode 18 , "Time Machine" of the 1963 Astro Boy. Riding in the time machine was so bumpy, that Mr. Pompous (Daddy Walrus in the 1980's series!) got jarred right off of the film frame. I immediately thought of this, and pasted three images together and captioned it. (I had to find and add the film sprocket holes too)
