mega thread Last Movie You Watched?

Recently I have been watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, and yesterday I finally made it to the Avengers.

I can see why it became really popular, as it is really awesome!

There was some really great action going on throughout the film, and despite being around 2 and a half hours it didn't feel that long.

I can't wait to see more out of the marvel movies.

I know I'm late to the party on this movie, but I finally got around to watching "The Martian"

All I'm willing to say about it is go and watch it if you haven't already, even though the 2 hour run-time might seem long for some people, it's well worth it

I just watched the new animated movie HOME and OMG it was the cutest thing ever!!! Even if you aren't a kid, I 100% recommend it! I wasn't expecting to like it very much but it is up there of my favorite movie lists. It's by the same creators of Megamind, so if you liked that movie, you will LOVE HOME!

You can sign this under most recently watch movie. But tonight I'm going in to check out... uh, Man of Steel 2 (starring Batman) LOL I hate this vs crap. The most stupidest part is this wasn't the first time Superman and Batman "disagreed" with each other. I know of the Dark Knight Returns animated film but even then that wasn't the first time either. Seems as long as time since these two were created they had crossovers in each other's comics. Superman would guest with Batman and Robin and vice versa.

Other times it's apparent that the only other time Batman raised his fist to Superman was if he was under some mind control and Batman had no choice. Other times There was this one time Batman flat out slugs Superman unknowingly or possibly forgot that he's basically a stone wall... And pretty much broke every bone in his hand. Batman being the most untrusting guy he is came up with plans to take each hero out should they turn evil... As seen in Justice League Doom.

But above all Batman is intelligent and he should know better when he's being had if that's the case. "If there's even a 1% chance that he's bad, I have to destroy him." This is the talk of many human mortals who can't grasp that they have men who could basically destroy the earth single handed. Yet they choose mercy and protection.

And I suppose knowing all that it's a wonder Superman hasn't lost his nerve and completely took over the world. It would be easy for him. Also that was Injustice Gods Among Us, right? Anywho tonight should be entertaining at least. It'll be fun to see Superman after 2013's Man of Steel. And it'll be cringe hard watching Batman (I'm really torn here because I like Batman too) cheat his ass off to try and get an edge on Superman. Man I can't wait till they get over their differences and work together because Justice League.

Um if this is set in the future, Batman being the grizzled older 50 ish Batman from said graphic novel... Then wouldn't Superman be more "seasoned" too? The events here take place after Man of Steel. And then he was still "green" right? by all accounts this is all origin stuff here. SO why Dark Knight Returns stuff? We'll find out soon enough I guess.

I watched some super cool Chinese movie on the tv yesterday. I think it was called Tai Chi Hero. I didn't get to watch the whole thing, which was pretty sad. As far as I watch, it was pretty cool!

10 Cloverfield Lane, and it was definitely worth watching. The plot was unpredictable as oppose to a cheesy hollywood cookie cutter plot, and was filled to the brim with tension. Throughout the film it makes you question what's going on, and aaaahh it's just one of those shining diamonds in the film industry.

I saw Batman VS Superman today.  I liked it a lot.  I have no complaints.  I am happy that I finally got to see a few things on the big screen that I have always wanted to see in a DC superhero movie.

:ooh:

Batman V Superman- I thought it was an enjoyable but incoherent overlong mess.

There were so many plotpoints that it gets in the way of the main conflict. Jesse Eisenberg was also horribly miscast and annoying as Lex Luthor.

Heck even the fight with Batman and Superman is contrived and lasts about 10 minutes.

That being said, Ben Affleck is great as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gal Gadot is fine as Wonder Woman, and Henry Cavill does a good job as Superman despite the bad writing.

Overall, I'd give it a 5/10.
