I think the last movie I saw was Doctor Strange, and I very much liked it. I thought maybe they gave Benedict Cumberbatch a bit too much credit, but he played his part well.

Star Trek: Generations

I can see how this movie doesn't exactly have the best rep. I don't think it's really bad or anything, but there were some pretty serious issues I had with it. It was enjoyable, nonetheless there was a bit of an over-abundance of, well, cringe. Moderately disappointing, I must say. 6.5/10.

My favorite moment was the actual launch, when Zephram Cochrane realized he forgot something and scrambled to find the disk in time. I thought that scene absolutely perfect!

Spoiler

Yesterday I watched the original "Westworld". It holds up well to this day. Yul Brynner was HOT as "Gunslinger".

That one transformers movie....the new one. I don't really watch movies anymore but I went to see that one because I went out with one of my friends.

Koe no Katachi (aka A Silent Voice, aka The Shape of Voice). I was really blown away by this movie. It's so rich and filled with well-defined characters that I really cared about and wanted to know better. Emotionally it pushed all the buttons and had me yelling at the screen in outrage, desperation and relief, and the animation was stunning. Really a beautiful piece of art. I loved it. :twi:
