So yeah, title says it all....what's the games you guys bought before but never felt like finish'ing it?

 

When I had my X-box 360,I had A WHOLE list of games that I never finished such as Castlevania lord of the shadows, Driver 3, and one called syndicate.....when I sold my X-Box 360 for a Ps3 I realized how stupid I was that I Never finished those games....now I'm spending a big amount of time finishing games that I bouth but never got around to finish....right now Im on Terraria from steam! yay.

 

So, the big question is....what video game you guys bouth one time but never got around to finish it?

Both Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 1 & 2.

 

I would always just gravitate towards the multiplayer until I got bored.

 

Also Portal 2. Fun game, but never got around to finishing.

LOZ Skyward Sword-I beat regular mode,i just haven't beat hero mode yet.

 

Mike tyson's punchout-I could never beat this game,I have only gotten up to Bald bull!

 

Pokemon Heart gold-Could never finish this one!

 

SSBB-I have finished story mode and unlocked all characters,but still missing things!

 

Dr. Mario-Just need to complete story mode on very hard and it is finished!

MW3, I enjoyed the multiplayer just never got the time to finish it. Also I didn't finish Battle Front 3, fun game just never had the time xD.

Resonance of Fate, Xbox 360:

 

Incredible game, great graphics, unique leveling up system, story was aweome...but I just sort of stopped playing it. I have no idea why I was so close to the ending too.

 

Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Xbox 360:

 

Got all the way to the final boss. Fought him for about 45 minutes (YES THAT LONG), died, then never bothered to go through the motions again.

 

Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Xbox 360:

 

It was boring.

 

Don't Starve, Steam:

 

Hard. Very hard. I just physically cant complete this. Survival / resource management  games like that are not my forte.

 

R.U.S.E, Steam:

 

The difficulty factor jumped from normal to insane in just one level. I quit it. Too much micromanagement.

I never got a chance to finish Spider-Man the Movie the Video Game for PS2 to this day, I didn't finish it.

 

Since my PS2 is obsolete, I guess I can't play it ever!

I don't really play games that have an ending.  I guess the closest thing was I played two different editions of Football Manager without winning a Champions League title.  Finally managed to win it about a month ago in the newest version of the game

Just Cause 2- I play that game a lot and I always get on with the goal of actually doing the storyline but I end up just going around blowing stuff up.

Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door- This game is so annoying! I just stopped playing it and never got around to finishing.

I've had alot of games that I've not totally finished, so it depends on how finished I guess, but I'll assume just not done with the main story.

 

Skyward sword: I have the game, and its not like I don't like it, just never finished it. 

Ocarina of Time: Don't kill me, but I still haven't finished gannons castle yet. Don't ask me why I honestly don't know.

Assassin's Creed 3: I loved the 1st and 2nd games, and I love the 3rd one to, but I've yet to play revelations and brotherhood and stuff yet, so I almost feel like I need to play them in order to not spoil stuff(Probably futile considering I think I've spoiled a whole lot anyways.)

Pokemon Rumble: I couldn't beat the last battle so I just kinda gave up, maybe I'll go back and finish it though.

Pokemon Black 2: I love this game, I just haven't got to finishing it yet, mostly because I'm caught up finishing alot of other pokemon games and stuff to right now .

 

I think theres more, but I can't think of them right now.

Okami HD on PS3. It was a fun game but it was way too long. I played for about 20 hours and got up to a massive boss thinking it will end and it turned out I still had around another 25-30 hours to go. I'll probably finish it one day though.

Kingdom Hearts II: For some reason I can't get into it like BBS and KHI

Final Fantasy X-2, the gameplay is fun but the story is...ugh

Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Mostly because my file has gotten deleted multiple times that I just stopped caring

The thing is, I really like these games. They are a ton of fun, but I just never got around to finishing any of them. I just never felt in the mood to bother with any of these games. Now I feel like booting up my very old save from Dark Cloud 1 and finishing what I started.

as for games that I couldn't finish but that I really want to, I want to finish crash bandicoot 1 and sonic adventure one. I can't play those because I either lost or broke the disc

Star Fox Adventures - I can't seem to beat the final boss, Andross, so I kind of stopped playing.

 

Mirror's Edge - I started it, but some of the puzzles I can't seem to find the finish line of. Plus, I keep forgetting the controls. 

 

Silent Hill Homecoming - The game glitched so I had to start my entire game all over again.

But then again, I'm a Star Fox fiend who's beaten every game in the series (besides Adventures) at least 50 times each, I shit you not. My friends actually dread playing multiplayer with me on SF64 and Assault, that's how bad I whoop 'em each time.

 

Anyways, as for mahself, the games I've never finished are:

 

-Dragon Quest IV on the DS (don't know why, it was actually a really good game)

 

-Final Fantasy IX and X (former bored me to tears, latter made me RAGE)

 

-Final Fantasy IV: The Afteryears (difficulty started to cripple me halfway through the game, so I got frustrated and never picked it back up)

 

-Mega Man X8 (it was so 'meh' that even a diehard Mega Man fan like myself couldn't go on)

 

-Mega Man X: Command Mission (aside from being 'meh', final boss kept kicking my ass three ways to Sunday)

 

-Skies of Arcadia (again, really good game, not sure why I never finished it)

 

-Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (dungeon crawls were good, but the train shit was borrrrrriiiiiiing)

 

I'm sure there are plenty more, since I've never been OCD about finishing everything I start, but I'll post them later if I can remember any.

I plan on replaying it, since I own two copies for some reason. .-. I played it when I was pretty young so I would most likely suck at it. xD I haven't had much of a chance at playing Assault yet; I plan on it; I just haven't yet. :3 Most of the Adventures game is easy for me; just select areas force me to retry over and over. Sounds like my friends with Mario Party or Super Smash Brothers Brawl. XD

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 (fun gameplay and great characters but never finished it I plan on doing so in the future)

 

.hack//Quarantine (good story but I played all 4 one right after the other so I got burned out but I'll be beating it soon)

 

Tales of the abyss 3DS (I beat the PS2 version and the 3DS version is much better, but it's a long game)

 

FF1-9,13 (I just find this series boring I personally prefer Megaten)

 

Tales of Legendia (I probably would have finished this game but I got a copy that doesn't work. That's what I get for getting it at a second hand store)

 

Lost Kingdioms (I couldn't beat the last boss. But I'm pro at the 2nd game)

 

Pokemon Colosseum (limited Pokemon you can have WTF is with that. Nintendo trolled me good with this game)

 

Zombi U (Monster Hunter 3U came out and I forgot about this game)

 

Digital devil saga (I'll put this in the working on it I just don't have the time.)

 

Phantasy star Online ep 1 & 2 (Well I'm going to say I never beat this because by the time the GC servers went down I wasn't lv 200 but I'm playing it on the private servers from time to time so yeah)

so with that reason, the only game i never finished is LA noir.

this game was just very, very long. and i just couldn't get myself to finish it. (wich is pretty weird since i did finish fallout 3 with all it's side quests)

i really recommend finishing dishonored. the ending(s) that you can get are all very interseting and to me very satisfying. i havn't played a game that made me feel like i really won in quite some time, but dishonored did the trick
