I don't think anyone has posted this image yet, it's a chart that shows the official mega evolutions, it's not official so take it lightly. I don't believe that image on the grounds that it includes Zangoose but not Seviper. I might be taking something too small and making too big a deal out of it, but it seems weird to take just one of a pair that was explicitly set up as rivals.

I'm curious as to what effect this has on the long run. the only difference I can see right now is that it slightly changes what to use when catching a pokemon though its not a big enough change to actually to cause concern /=|

 

I do find it funny that it doesn't mention that fire types can't be burnt =P

Those are definitely some nice buffs for those types, it will be interesting to see how those effect the metagame.

Yea it was confirmed he was Litleo's evo when I posted that. I probably won't end up getting him either, but like you said possibly in another playthrough.    Although this video is new, the fact that trainers are customizable is not. But I am glad that it looks pretty extensive and not just like 10 shirts and two hair styles    And Ice types can't be Frozen

I'm pretty sure Ice types already couldn't be frozen, at least I think so...

Yes, it was already like that. I believe a lot of the released type information was basically reiteration of how the game worked already save for the new addtions to the Grass, Electric, and Ghost types.

I jokingly called Furfrou "the Pokemon poodle"...I didn't know it was actually the poodle Pokemon! I'll probably keep mine in the shaggy form though, the look on the other form's faces just screams "This is utterly humiliating" to me. Especially if it's male. 

 

Gender differences are getting more and more noticeable lately. Yeah, they were implemented in Gen 4, but they were so subtle you usually had to quint hard enough at the sprite to notice the differences, which was usually nothing more than a smaller fang or longer fur. Gen 5 had the pink/blue jellyfish and the radically different pigeons, and now we have Pyroar and Meowstic.

I'm kinda torn. I wanted to start with Chespin, but Frogadier and Braixen are just so much cooler than Quilladin... I guess Quilladin's okay. He looks cooler in the gameplay video than in the picture in the magazine.

Yeah, i think the type changes actually are pretty cool, although some i know already exist, because i know leech seed doesn't work on grass types. 

 

Spore moves are new for not affecting grass types though.

 

Overall these seem reasonable and alot of them like things that should've already existed.

I have a feeling i'll have more then one playthrough of X and Y...

I think the ones that changed could actually be quite a decent change, it could offer some interesting strategy's or alter some pokemons usefulness.

Well, i dunno i might keep it shaggy if i get one to, but at the same time i kinda like some of them.

 

Also, i dunno if male dogs really care whether their dressed or not, i think its more based on a single dog.

 

I dunno, honestly it seems like alot of dogs don't really like being dressed in the first place, atleast the ones i've seen that people dress. And my dads a vet, so i've seen plenty of dogs ;p.

 

And yeah they are. And i like it, i like seeing differences in genders, idk why i just do. It makes the game feel more expansive, and the pokemon feel more unique.

 

Plus i dunno i just like it, more designs and stuff, even if its somewhat subtle, or color pallet changes. But i like them for the most part.

 

I definately want more pokemon new and old to include gender differences. even if they're smaller.

 

I'm liking the female pyroars mane a bit more, i'm just more for that mane style ;p. But again as i said before here i'm getting fennekin, so it'll be a later grab for a later playthrough for me.

Really? I don't really like the mane for the female Pyroar. It didn't really make it look less masculine. I don't really know what they could have done instead, besides not having the mane like a real lioness but come on that's kinda lame, but I want to see what they could have done.

So, the evolutions for the fossil Pokemon Amasaur and Tyrunt have been revealed.

We have Aurorus:

And Tyrantrum:

Personally, I think these two are the coolest fossil Pokemon the series has ever had, amazing designs with unique dual typings to boot. In fact, I'm almost tempted to make a team of 6 Tyrantrum haha, it has to be my favorite of all the new Pokemon revealed so far, if not one of the most awesome looking Pokemon ever in my opinion.

Aurorus doesn't look too shabby either, more of an elegant build but I like it. Though this doesn't give off that physical attacker vibe... 

 

They're the best looking fossil pokemon to date, no doubt in my mind.

Honestly though, I think these are the coolest fossil pokemon GameFreak has made in a long while. I hope they'll be good statwise because I really want to use that Tyrantrum. Perhaps I'll make a prehistoric gimmick team next generation...

But seriously guys, if Mega Charizard had it's tail flame taken way and was recolored, it could definitely be it's own pokemon.

Hmm... I totally agree. It could even be a legendary! We still see some traits from Charizard, but it looks different.

 

I'm personaly not really excited about this game, since I'm not going to buy it. But well, this generation seem way better than the two lasts lol.

Aurorus looks so pretty! Tyrantrum on the other hand looks downright fearsome. If he doesn't have Intimidate as his secondary ability, I will be severely disappointed.

 

This now puts me in a dilemma that has never happened before with fossil Pokemon...I can't decided which one I want! I know you're only allowed to pick one fossil in game (except for the old amber in Gen 1), but can't I have both...please?
