Cocokoru 133 January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 Nothing changed. Same as new year, birthday and the like, I won't feel any different miraculously.
Splashee 28,566 January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 Turning 18 was not really changing anything for me. I was late with puberty as well, so being legal age wasn't really noticed anyways.
JonasDarkmane 19,788 January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 Little changed when I became 18. I guess the biggest thing were darn taxes! ZiggWheelsManning 10,961 December 9, 2020 Share December 9, 2020 Things were the same. Did all the school work I was suppose to, chilled at home during summer to watch Nickelodeon eating Garlic Ritz Special thanks to Emerald Heart for the banner! Jesse Terrence 2,969 December 9, 2020 Share December 9, 2020 Nothing really changed for me. I was 18 when I was on my last semester at highschool. I wouldn't say I was pressured to pick an uni because, truth is, I had been planning to get a degree in anything science once I was done with highschool. I didn't plan to take a break from studying anyway. Didn't get new rights nor responsibilities, or at least none that changed my life.

AppleButt 8,676 December 9, 2020 Share December 9, 2020 When I turned 18 around 9 1/2 years ago I graduated high school, got a job at a factory for the summer, got a tattoo, discovered MLP, went to college, and then dropped out of college after a semester. Was a pretty busy age for me.
ExplosionMare 18,085 December 9, 2020 Share December 9, 2020 Nothing much changed except for the fact that I kept feeling more like a child even though I’m an adult. It’s not like being 18 grants anyone instant freedom so maybe that’s why 2 Boom!
Clawdeen 15,447 December 23, 2020 Share December 23, 2020 My parents started treating me like an adult far before I hit 18. We aren’t a close family. Im more like....a guest or a friend who’s staying over. 1 * Freaky Just Got Fabulous *
Dreambiscuit 10,094 January 2, 2021 Share January 2, 2021 When I turned 18 there weren’t any extra responsibilities or expectations piled on me. My parents, if anything, preferred I stayed 8 years old forever, and didn’t want me doing worldly things. They wanted me to be an adult when I was ready and not before. I’m sure that eventually they might have made a few hints to grow up a little if I’d have dragged my feet to the point I was missing out on certain opportunities. But overall I think the transition from childhood to adulthood was pretty seamless.

Yoshi89 5,293 January 19, 2021 Share January 19, 2021 18 is such a distant memory. All I remember is eating dinner with family since it was a school night, but I can't remember for the life of me where. Astralshy 27,297 June 2, 2021 Share June 2, 2021 Honestly, not much changed for me by turning 18 back then. The relationship with my parents and sibling stayed the same. My parents trusted and let me made decision before 18 before. I mean you feel more free and everything looks kinda different (metaphorical speaking), but practically not much changed.
Cash In 22,502 June 5, 2021 Share June 5, 2021 I drank alcohol for the first time when I turned 18. Other than that, nothing that spectacular happened. At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
Northern Star 1,024 June 5, 2021 Share June 5, 2021 18...went through another year of high school since early graduation was denied and started college. 19 transferred to a different college with a new thing called "online college", much better, and so far cheaper(still going, I figure no rush, a cow doesn't care) 20 "all you do is sit in the cab and be on the computer, go get a real job in town" (gets job in town) "you're never able to help out on the farm, you should ask for more time off or quit" "you should get a degree in computers and leave the farm" (no, computers are a fun hobby, I'd hate them as a job, and I've wanted to farm since forever) 21 repeat of 20, but with a feeling of being behind for something but never figured it out.
