removing a screw and letting it drop inside the screw bag I'm holding, ending up bouncing out of it and ending up going inside my breast pocket.....

it made me smile like derpy while looking at my breast pocket.

My biggest derp moment was probably the time I baked a cake for cooking class in Grade 10. Everything was going pretty well, but then the teacher calls us up to bring our food to the front of the room. I was the last one, so I carried the plate and walked. For a split second, I took my eyes off that cake and when I looked back, the thing was on the floor. No joke, that was the best looking thing I've ever cooked and I couldn't even eat it. It's been four years now and I still wonder what it would've tasted like.

On one of my first nights at my former job (perhaps even my very first), my lunch in the microwave somehow caught the microwave on fire. The break room never had that many microwaves ever again. All thanks to me.

In the shower I've put body wash in my hair on more than one occasion.

I once was late to school because I was looking for a shoe that was already on my foot.

On a trip in my then university's symphony orchestra, I put my bassoon on my chair to get up and go get a stand. The chair was weird and was curved down at the front and... Yeah. Nothing more needs to be said.

One night in the pit for a performance for a musical at my university, I went to the performance with only one reed. While waiting in rests I put my oboe horizontally on my lap and somehow the reed brushed my sleeve and cracked it right down the middle. My next entrance was a very exposed part. I was mortified as to what the heck it was going to do when I tried to play out of it. I should have had my oboe card taken away from me after that. For shame.
