Why use a stun gun when you have your fists and feet? I mean those are my weapons of choice if I had to defend myself. The topic question, for me, is more just what weapon I'd like to own for fun. (Even if I just kept it at a shooting range not my own home. Although my home would also have swords mounted on the wall.)

As for real guns? An 1800s Winchester would be a cool collectors item. If I were to own a gun for self-defense... honestly, I don't know modern guns very well. Maybe a little Sig Sauer, because I know that's a popular manufacturer. For sport, a modern Winchester shotgun or rifle. Sport shooting is something I've always wanted to try, closest thing I've done was some archery.

I personally don't like using firearms, but it is certainly mandatory to protect yourself from danger. My pick will be the Colt Python and a little water squirt gun.
