OceanSapphire 227 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 February 16, 2013 I was nearly trampled to death by a mob of Twilicorn haters. Fortunately I was saved by a Jamaican in a golf cart who took me to Denny's for a Grand Slam.
Planty 1,053 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 Hmm, I got a finger infection last year and it got to just before the point where it will start tracking up your arm and give you septicaemia. That was lucky I went to the doctors and got anti bionics! Have ANY questions about Christianity? INBOX ME!
SomeReallyRandomGuy 137 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 Well, I went out one day, and crossed to the middle of the road. For some reasson my mind just blanked out on me & I walked in front of a car.... Luckily it missed me, but not by much.Had I swung my arm back a inch or 2 it would have been smacked by a car. That day was very interesting...
FlutterScream 180 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 Oh, twice for me. Once when I was 10, I was driving a go-kart and the place I was at, the operators failed to inspect each of us (being in a small group) and apparently I had my seat belt on wrong (again, they failed to make sure), I hit a guard rail and the seat belt came 1/8th inch from hitting my juggler vein. 7 years later I was hit by a so-called best-friend who was messing with his radio while I was on my bike, however if that had not happened, I wouldn't be here today due to another issue that was caused by my mothers negligence of taking care of me properly when I was only a baby. An ear infection ate away and destroyed the left mastoid bone (the bone keeps the ear canal in line to allow hearing) and the result from that was skin growing in it's place and up inside of my skull pushing against my brain which in turn caused memory issues as well as learning difficulties. InspiredBrony 31 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 (There is no comma on this keyboard so please excuse the bad grammar) Twice. The first time was when I was out camping with the boy scout troop when I woke up one morning with a bump on my arm. I just assumed that I had hit it in the night and payed it no mind. After breakfast I noticed that it had swollen and was beginning to itch. I went to the camp nurse got some cream and again went on with my day. The three mile hike was next and I'll admit I was somewhat worried that the bump might get worse. Still I went on with the hike. About halfway through that bump had doubled in size from when I went to the nurse and was beginning to get a headache. The size was worrying but the headache I shrugged off as a sign of dehydration and started to drink water more frenquently. Over the next hour things took a turn for the worse. I started to see less clearly coupled with warped vision when I could see. I began to stray off the path and walk in a drunken fashion. We stopped for a quick break and in that small period of time I want to say I fainted but it was more like a quick slip away from reality. I had not even noticed that my entire arm and hand were swollen. I was shaken back into reality by another scout and we continued on with the hike. The headache had been replaced by numbness throughout my entire body and I actually don't remember anything else up until the point where I was rushed to the doctor. He told me I had a major staff infection coupled with an allergic reaction. He said that it was a spider but he did not know what kind. He also said that the venom had reached my brain but not enough to be serious. The two treatments were to either cut off part of my arm for a guaranteed cure or to take several medications and compresses with a minor chance of success. It took the medication and everything was back to normal after three weeks. That was longer than expected. The second time was three months later at the beach. I was out swimming with my friend's younger brother when I heard him scream for help. He was about ten feet away and drowning. I swam over to him only to realize that he was in a rip current and so was I! So for the next ten minutes I'm fighting the current while I have him on my shoulder acting as a weight (I'm not blaming him but he is kinda heavy) and when we get back guess what? No one cares no one believes and no one gives a crap about what just happened to us! But hey at least I'm alive!
That 80s Pony 62 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 When I was little, I would've drown if it wasn't for the help of a kind stranger. That's pretty much it, although some of my friends got into car accidents and survived without a scratch. 1# G1 Fan

Foxx 258 April 5, 2014 Share April 5, 2014 (edited) I haven't, but whoa, these stories are frightening. I think I may have used up all of my luck though, since I haven't broken a single bone, muscle or ligament in my body. I guess the worst thing that has happened to me was that I got a rock thrown at my face, but I got a badass scar through my eyebrow, a box of chocolates and an awesome story for my efforts. ravensilvertail 34 April 6, 2014 Share April 6, 2014 When I was on a little league baseball team, we had a party at the coaches house. They had a pond out back for swimming. A few of my teammates thought it would be funny to tell me that at the edge of the dock, it was shallow. I jumped in believing them. I cried out for help but no one came to help me. I couldn't swim. I sank like a rock. I had to climb the rock wall that was underwater to get to the top. As soon as I reached it I got ran over by a boat. You know those paddle boats with the metal rudder on the back end??? It knocked me out for a few minutes but when I didn't come up my mom came to help me. As soon as I got out, we left the party. We had an automobile accident in '98 that fractured my l2 vertebrae. I came close to dying that time. My mom and I had a song from that experience. I will post a link later. It was a miracle that I woke up. Due to my extraordinary resilient nature, a few people gave me the title of an immortal. My friend David called me that. I also fell off the high dive at the Archbold pool. The wrong end. I was 4 or 5 years old maybe younger. I climbed the high dive and I was bumped off the back end by a guy backing up. Unfortunately for me, I bounced like a rubber ball twice. I was still conscious believe it or not. And I was absolutely terrified because I was being life flighted. They strapped me onto this body board and strapped it onto the helicopter floor. The latter fact was unbeknownst to me at the time so I was flailing about in terror. The guy sitting by me was trying to calm me down but I was inconsolable.

Celestial Wish 349 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Multiple times. Once when I was three (I barely remember this) I had been involved in a car accident. Our truck flipped and while still strapped in my baby seat, I was flung out the wind shield and off a rocky steep hill. Fractured skull, minor brain damage (memory loss), permanent nerve damage in certain places of my neck and face. Paralyzed muscles on the right side of my face. Damaged hearing. Another time was a few years ago when I was drugged and it had literally set off a drug induced heart attack. I was resuscitated and since then, I've been battling to keep my heart strong to prevent a possible transplant. Dying is never fun, don't ever think it is. DaringDashie 147 June 23, 2014 Share June 23, 2014 I have another story I could post. So this last weekend we went camping up in the mountains, we had decided to do more of a traditional way of camping so we were using tents. The third night up there we (my family) went out fishing instead of staying in the ten and going to sleep. While we were out, there had been a thunder storm so, we decided spend the night at a local cam station. When we got back the next morning we had fount that lightning had struck a tree and had fallen right on our tent. This tree was massive so if we hadn't stayed at the cam station we might have been killed by the tree.
Rainbow S.D. 546 June 23, 2014 Share June 23, 2014 I have two actually. These are not really NDE though. I was 7 years old, I was at a community pool. There were no-one else except my family. Recently, the pool had installed a water slide. So I climbed up, went sliding down. I didn't realize the water where I was about to land was too high for 7 year old me. So I was drowning until my dad notices me. He picked me up to and let me down at the shallow side. So, my dad saved my life. I was 8 years old, I usually walk to my bus stop everyday. So, I walk there. I need to cross to the other street and I'm there. So I look both ways, start crossing and a white/silver car hits me on the left side of my body. I fly like 7 feet to the right. My head barely missed the concrete curb, I would've banged my head badly there. So I get up with a limp, and the driver is freaking out. He calls the cops. After 30 minutes, I finally go to school. Not that much to tell here. My Youtube Channel I upload clips, animations, and other stuff. I'd appreciate it if you subscribe.
Bronychan1214 150 June 23, 2014 Share June 23, 2014 (edited) When I was very young it was my first time in an actual swimming pool instead of those kiddie ones. I got in thinking it would be shallow like the kiddie one and almost drown. My mother got to me before that happened. I had a basketball thrown at the back of my head and I fell face first into a fire extinguisher and broke it and glass was all in my face and I was bleeding a lot. I don't know if I would of died from that but I felt like sharing. I am sure I am going to have many more since I am very unlucky and very clumsy. I lose my balance constantly and I knock over huge things all the time so I am sure I am gonna have more. Edited June 23, 2014 by Bronychan1214 Best pony. Best waifu! Envy 6,162 June 23, 2014 Share June 23, 2014 I do not think I've posted in this topic, but if have... Blame this forum software for making it so hard to check! When I was really young (Don't recall the age, maybe 3 or 4) I got dropped off at a daycare on a trip, and somehow I managed to fall several feet from a set of stairs right on my head. I do not know much more than that... But I apparently almost died. Everything needs more woodwind!

N.W. 3,619 June 23, 2014 Share June 23, 2014 Most recent: My friend offered to take me on a ride in his new truck. Meh, not a big deal, just a spin around the neighborhood right? Probably the most terrifying 15 minutes in a car I have and ever will spend. Going 70mph in a neighborhood, a fucking neighborhood. He could have not only crashed and killed the both of us, he could have killed anyone unlucky enough to have been in the way, could have been a small kid, and adult, and senior, etc.. Also went 80mph in a 45mph zone during rush hour. It was an old pickup, with no handle on the interior roof of the passenger side, so I had a death grip on the upper half of the window/roof. LightningMana 146 June 24, 2014 Share June 24, 2014 I've almost drowned twice at Wild Waves when I was in Elementary school. Another time, I got in a car accident where I fish-tailed down a highway, and by pure chance, managed to run off the road directly between a line of trees, and a barn, which resulted in me plowing into a bail of hay. I totaled the car and had a mangled face from the air bag for a week or so, but... man... that line of trees and barn. A different lady had crashed into that line of trees not long before my accident, and she didn't make it sadly. So it was pretty much a deadly highway~ and I feel I was being watched over, and feel lucky to still be around Avatar designed by my beloved VinylShadow~ ~~~COMMISSIONS OPEN~~~ http://mlpforums.com/topic/102640-lightning-mana-custom-pony-figure-commissions/
RainbowPastel 185 June 24, 2014 Share June 24, 2014 Not really. I always seem to hurt myself and get very sick one way or another but it's not too bad. At birth the cord twisted around my neck and tied itself tight knots. Along with my entire family I had SEVERE food poisoning in Seattle as a kid. The memories are shady so I don't really know how close I was there. My cider brings all the ponies to the yard and they're like its better than yours, damn right it's better than yours. ~SadisticFluttershy~ 779 June 24, 2014 Share June 24, 2014 Probably the closest time to death I have ever had was back in 2009. I was Hospitalized with Swine Flu.I had a bunch of other stuff too. The doctor's/my parents didn't think I was gonna make it. Had to spend 3 weeks in the Hospital and then 2 1/2 months at home. 2009 is not a year I really like to remember. Oh dude, I had the Swine Flu too! I swear, that week was hell for me! But I didn't have to go to the hospital. Even though those symptoms were a huge pain in the flank. Severe Body Aches, 104 Degree Fever, nausesia, etc.. you get the deal. I took anti biotics and other meds, drank sprite and ate soup and played games on my laptop. After about 4 days I was feeling a hell lot better, but was still not good enough to go back to school. After that week, I was back at school fresh as a daisy. I had a near death experience before. I was maybe 7 years old. I was eating a life saver(I haven't eaten one in awhile) and I laid down to continue playing my games, and then the life saver went past my throat and got lodged in the tube. (I could still breathe, but very difficult). I panicked and ran into the kitchen and grabbed a drink and drank alot of it to get the thing to slither down into my stomach (worst feeling ever.. so gross). Yeah, that's about it. Thanks MiniKirby!
