Halo three is my favourite. Halo 1 and two I don't remember much but I know they were cool. Reach I liked quite a Bit and ODST?

I hated it. I have no idea why I have no idea hkw. Just something in that game made me mad.

I'm not much of a Halo player to be honest and I've only played ODST, Reach and 3 though I must say out of them I rather enjoyed Reach the most

I was extremely annoyed/displeased/pissed off at what 343 did with Halo. Multiplayer felt like CoD, campaign was lacking, hell, the only thing that was decent was Spartan Ops. IMHO.

My favorite halo game is ODST: it was just fun to play, i liked the story and how you could play it in almost whatever order you wanted to, I also liked how they put that night-vision thing instead of just a flashlight.

 

My least favorite has to be halo 4. I dont like the multiplayer at all, it seems too much like call of duty with different skins and weapons. Halo multiplayer was fine as it was and they changed it all, making it so people that played the game more had an advantage because they had better stuff. Now final boss spoilers: 

The entire game you are led to believe that this guy is so powerful that he can control master cheif, drain his sheilds, and control all of the forerunners. I went into the final boss with the expectation of this "win or die" ideal, expecting a fight where you had to go through tons of forerunners and the boss, with an army behind me. I got a cutscene of a glitched AI holding the guy down while i stick him with a grenade.

Halo 1 was a very fun adventure through a decent sci-fi story. My personal favorite.

 

Halo 2 was meh. The story got more convoluted and dull, the campaign shorter, and the gameplay only saw minor improvements.

 

Halo 3 was better than 2, but still nothing special. Multiplayer was fun, though.

 

Halo Wars was a pretty good strategy game. Worked pretty well for a console game.

 

Halo: ODST isn't even worth mentioning.

 

Halo Reach isn't a good game, but at least Bungie tried to bring the series in a different direction. The story was closer to home and more personal, but it still had bad characters and lame convolutions. The multiplayer was lazily slapped together, and the gameplay felt a bit clunky.

 

Halo 4 is just terrible. Its story is one of the worst in human history, the gameplay got even clunkier, and the multiplayer became a ghost-fest. Those purple little bastards are so OP it's just ridiculous.

I do remember playing the second one as a kid, and enjoyed it, but that's about it.

 

Other than that, I'm not a big fan of the halo series.

1. Halo 3: Great multiplayer and The most inspirational campaign I have ever played.

2. Halo CE: It's a freaking classic.

3. Halo Reach: Loved multiplayer, Forge, and firefight. But I thought the campaign was not all that good.

4. ODST: I liked the story, but it was a little frustrating to play, and didn't have online multiplayer.

5. Halo 4: Garbage.

6. Halo 2: Absolutely nothing good: about as disappointed with Halo 2 as MW3.

Although its kind of a tie between Halo:CE and Halo 3. Halo 3 has a great multiplayer while Halo:CE has an amazing campaign. It's too hard to chose just one. XD

Halo 1 is definitely my all time favourite Halo game ever since 2001. Halo 1 has one of the best music, scenery, and weapons. The flood were THE most dangerous enemies in the game, since they were hard to kill and they kept coming and coming relentlessly! I remember one of the Marines to say a cuss word to the enemy and it actually got censored in the game. Halo 3 is another favourite.

I do like Halo 4. It was very dramatic and interesting with the new implements and new enemies. The only problem I have with it is that it's a little short in the campaign.

I don't think I have a dislike for any of the Halo games, except that I hated that halo 2 took out the assault rifle from the first one.

Well I can tell you, I liked all of them, excluding Halo Wars.   In addition the best one and worst one i played was Halo 4, b/c of various reasons (some parts were good, but most others were horrific).

I've only played about an hour of Halo 3. I gotta give it more of a try but if I'm not in the mood for it I can't enjoy it so it'll have to wait for now.

Halo 3 frustrated me, because I played on the same difficulty setting as the others but I died a lot more. Then again, I had the same experience with CoD4, but replayed it much later and loved it, so maybe I just need to play the game again. For now though, something has to be my least favorite of the series so I suppose that's it. 

 

So, for me it goes:

 

1) Halo Reach

2) Halo 1 

3) Halo 2

4) Halo ODST (which, really, is another game I think I might like more were I to replay it)

5) Halo 4

6) Halo 3 

 

Altogether, with the possible exception of Halo 3, I don't think any of them are much better or worse than each other. 

 

Oh, and I'm going purely off single-player, as I couldn't care less for multi-player.

My favorite Halo is probably 3, I love the story to it, and it just screams Xbox in my face. ^^

 

Least is Halo Wars, mostly because it wasn't originally intended to be a Halo game, it just has Halo "skins" pulled over it.

 

Plus, I'm not really fond of strategy games. ^^;

i love halo 3 (mostly because its the very first halo game i ever played, enjoyed in the blossoms of my youth......when i was seven) and i guess the one i hate most is.....maybe halo 4? it just didn't look that good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first game back when I played it on PC all those years ago. I hardly played the second game but back when three was released, I played the online quite a lot but died away from since it got boring. 

 

I didn't like ODST, I played a little bit of four and didn't like it either.

 

Playing infection on the third game though, that was the bees' knees

My favourite Halo game is definitely a draw between Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 4. Really can't choose between them to be honest 

 

My least favourite is Halo 3 easily.

I've only played 3, ODST and Reach. I'd say ODST was my favourite with Reach being my least.

It is a tie between Combat Evolved and Reach for #1. Combat Evolved was huge for the time and it brings back a lot of memories, that campaign was immense. Halo Reach is a game that has it all. Great campaign, awesome multiplayer, Firefight, it is so good.

 

My least favorite is probably Halo 4, mostly because I found the story to be very meh.
