I liked it. The song remix itself was (gasp) actually very well done (this is coming from someone who generally hates remixes, especially brony remixes), which is a nice touch to the good animation. I didn't find it disturbing or anything, just a ridiculous Pinkie Pie parody of her going insane

when I started to watch the video, I though :that´s not bad  . All until pp started to hit twilight like crazy,And i was….WTF  !     The video make me feel so sad…!   I personally think that although the animation was  pretty awesome ( Because it was, identical to the canon) it's really disgusting and ….not so good at all. First, I like MLP because it is a really innocent, cute  and funny , and well, video like this are all against-canon, made only to have some shock values. second , what   would other people think! that will make our fan sub  look really creepy and pervert. And I really don't get nothing funny about that ,given that it can shade kids searching online for the original version , i have no problem with gore and grim dark ,but MLP grim dark/gore version, that kind of parody are only disgusting, terrible and NSFW for my fine taste.

I haven't watched it, and I never will. I know my limits when it comes to gore.

 

Personally, I don't have an issue with the fact that the video exists in and of itself, even if it isn't my cup of tea. However, to my knowledge (and correct me if I'm wrong) the video does not have the appropriate content warnings, and that is 100% not ok. It wouldn't be acceptable for any video, but is especially revolting when the source material is popular with small children.

 

Smile HD would be acceptable if and only if the video were flagged so that you must have an account stating that you are over 18 in order to view it and the video was prefaced by a blatant warning, something to the affect of "this video contains graphic violent imagery and is not appropriate for children" etc. etc. Until this happens (or if it's happened already, again correct me if I'm wrong) I consider this "mister davie" fellow to be a sick sick man who needs to be forcefully removed from the internet.

It's ok with content warnings, it's not ok without content warnings. People can watch what they want, but it's still wide out there for kids to watch, and even if they don't want to see gore, there's nothing warning them about the incoming gore train.

 

And it's videos like that that make people hate the brony fandom, because it feels like a lot of bronies are shoving clop and gore down kids throats, even though there's many who have done what they could to prevent kids from being exposed to that stuff.

I stumbled upon the video by, you know, randomly losing track of time looking at random videos on YouTube... Anyways I watched it and almost spat my drink out  Why? Well, PINKIE PUNCHED TWILIGHT'S HEAD OFF in the first 10 seconds of the video.

 

I wasn't expecting it at all 'cause it looked so innocent but then hey look at cupcakes :3 Totally switching up Pinkie thats for sure daaaaayum

I'm not sure, It was good animation but I'm not really a fan of gore. I sort of got the feeling that the animator doesn't really like/ hates ponies though.

Ehhh, the video is okay. I mean, shock value aside, there really isn't much there to admire. Yeah, the animation is great and the "SMILE" remix is good, but honestly...the video is kinda meh.

I loved Smile HD, though it also one of the only videos that creep me out at the same time. 

The animation was great, the song is one of my favorites, and well...in general, it was a great video. 

The only thing that started to creep me out was what was happening in the video, though the ending was just plain awesome.

I know which video you spoke of, and it's very gory.

 

I was disturbed by this, but parts of it were funny.

 

I hate to say "funny", I don't have a dark sense of humor.

 

The part where Applejack smiled after Pinkie killed Rarity was kind of funny, reminds me of them being opposites of sorts.

 

The part with Twilight, that was not funny.

 

But the final fight with Fluttershy was somewhat in character, I believe.

 

Think of it, Fluttershy loves her friends more than anything, and she's "wrestled" plenty of bears.

 

So, put 2 and 2 together, just seems like Flutters went balls deep in this.

 

I would have been interested to see what Twily would have done if not "finished" first.

 

Overall, it was a disturbing video. I don't like it in any way, but it's interesting.

 

Well, I take that back. The Smile Song remix is pretty nice, but that's it.

I hate Misterdavies. I don't like gore in MLP, it kind of sickens me. Especially stuff like this that's pretty close to the actual show.

Smile HD is hilarious. I don't mind gore one bit, so seeing these ponies beating up each other put a stupid grin on my face. MisterDavie knows how to shock his audience effectively...

I don't really mind gore if its in written form or if its not like SUPER gore like intestines spilling out or like when Flutters was having her skin burned off showing exposed flesh and muscle like in said video. I actually really like darker and more serious mlp fan fictions so most gore doesn't bother me.

 

So with that said the video was kinda cool, the animation was nice and the song was good. Not much really to it but ponies loosing massive amounts of blood and body parts.

 

Was kinda rooting for Flutters at the end though.

People theorize that Pinkie killed Twilight & Rarity instantly because they could probably beat her with whatever unicorn magic they had.

With her main threat out of the way, she was free to toy with Applejack, smacking her against the tree like she did.

 

Rainbow Dash beat Pinkie's base form too, but since it was only a kick, she was able to recover and stand back up.

A destructive energy blast would've done the job, as you can't "recover" from being a charred mark on the ground.
