Less than lethal: if it hadn't missed and split it might have been a lot more potent. The smaller bolts will leave some nasty marks for a while and are something that I myself would try to avoid, but there's nothing life threatening about being hit by one.

 

And thanks :D I felt the need to draw our shocking antagonist :P

Do you send a message to the other person asking if they're fine with it? Do you just have your OC flirt with their OC? I just thought that now is as good a time as any to ask that question.

I'd guess if it's just a flirt you can do that.  If you want it to develop into a romance or possible romance over the course of the rp you can pm to ask.  If you're not sure you can go ahead and pm to ask, can't hurt I'd guess.

The way it works for me (Although it never works really) is like real life: Just have your OC flirt with them a little bit, and see what happens from there. It's not the best way to do it, but it works.

Heh, really, just go with it. I put it in because I think it adds an interesting dynamic to the story and opens up plot points. How you want to go about it is up to you but I just stand by the simple:

 

Character A says something.

Character B responds favourably / unfavourably.

 

Only thing I ask is to not have it done in 2 / 3 posts. Make it interesting, make it awkward or difficult, draw it out. We've got an adventure ahead and dumping all the romance into the first night isn't necessary.

Just throwing this out there directed at everyone, but I'm really enjoying this roleplay XD  Seems like the first one I've joined in a while that is staying fairly active and has a good plot smile.png  It almost makes me want to submit a second character, just to stay more involved in it.

First up, to everyone. Can I just shout out to double check the rules about god modding and keeping the powers balanced. It's not good when I'm struggling to avoid god-modding just so that the god-villain actually seems intimidating.

 

Next, I'm loving the mixture of interaction, tension, and conflict in the party. Much as Redwave and Kingfisher mutter about it, I don't want to give the impression I'm trying to steer you away from it or anything.

 

Lastly, @, you're welcome to submit a second character if you can handle two without sacrificing quality, just apply as before. :P

Huh...honestly that's pretty cool. Sounds more than just a bit better than a three post romance. What roleplay did that happen in? Very few ever get that far.

We find the alicorn and Blast tries to reason with him. However, he creates a blizzard with his now-stronger magic and escapes. Before he left, he told us that he knew where the location of the Litany was.
