Your Favorite Manestyle

I found this really difficult to decide. All their manes are beautiful in different ways.

I initially was gonna pick Rainbow Dash, because the rainbowness on her mane is just AMAZINGLY PRETTY. And I vote for her for pretty much everything. xD

But I picked Fluttershy, because of out of all the Mane Six, I find that I'm always staring at her mane the most for some reason. It's just so wavy and long and beautiful... <3 

Rainbow's a close second, and Rarity third.

If talking about Mane 6, I love Rarity's fabulous mane the most, it was a very creative choice for her. From the background ponies, I like Cadence's, Babs Seed's and Pinkamena's alot (yep, I consider Pinkamena to be bg character, since she rarely appears anyways).

Rainbow Dash's. Without a doubt for me. It just looks so awesome, especially with the rainbow colours. I guess it's because it looks somewhat messy as well, like my hair I guess

Let's see...From the Mane 6 I'd have to pick Fluttershy. It's just so unique, and her hair is so pretty! 

 

From the background ponies, I pick Vinyl and Octavia. They both have some pretty awesome dos.

I have to go with a background pony for this one... this used to be one of my favorite character, and is still my fave background pony. Her fan name is Candy Mane, since she isn't given a name in-show.

Princess Luna's mane is the best for me (second version of her mane, of course !)

 

I also like Cherry Jubilee's and Spitfire's manestyles. 

 

And from the Mane 6... I like Fluttershy's the most ! It's so cute :3

I cannot decide!

 

The best manestyles are Pinkamena/Fluttershy/Applejack in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with the others but straight hair, long hair is just my preference

Colgate, Sparkler, and Quickfix (my avatar). All of them are background ponies but I somehow like their curved and spiky mane.

 

I also like Berry Punch and Mjölna's.

 

And it looks like a bunch of people here like's Rainbow Dash's mane, which is no surprise. Spiky and straight hair are most people's preferences over curled hair, which explains why they like spiky manes. Plus, it's rainbow colored and looks "cool".

 

If I have to go with Mane 6, it's Applejack. The third place for my background pony favorite mane is Flitter, mostly because it looks cute.

Rarity's manestyle is my favorite manestyle by a wide margin! Haven't you seen the amazing spirals she has in her mane and tail? Even if she isn't my favorite personality-wise, her distinctive hair caught my eye early on and it continues to captivate me every time she prances onto the screen. That's why she was the second pony I drew, after all.

I am going to have to pick Twilight for having favorite mane. It fits the mane character's personality perfectly. Runner up would be Rarity with her fabulous mane. If I could pick secondary characters then Sweetie Belle for her awesome mane design would have a high ranking along with Vinyl Scratch with Diamond Tiara/Silver Spoon and a few others as well for runner up position.

I would definitely have to go with Pinkie Pie's mane. Because it really has no definite style, just an poofy explosion of spontaneity, eccentricity, and randomness!

 

It really defines her personality for the most part. She has a bubbly and bouncy personality and her mane is often bouncy, free flowy, and even appears to be full of lively joy. 

 

And it can also change with her moods, as we have seen in Party of One, and Magical Mystery Cure.

 

Her mane is amazing, no doubt about that!

Rainbow Dash's main is awesome!

It is very colorful, short(ish), and simply awesome!  

 

I think that when you look up "super-ultra-extreme-awesomazing" in the dictionary, it would be a picture of Rainbow Dash's mane - although, it might be better to put a picture of Rainbow Dash; I don't know.

I love Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Luna, Celestia and Cadence's mane styles!! Their manes are so pretty

Rainbow Dash's mane bothers me that it's hard to accurately represent.  It's nice to look at as a Flash sprite or in 2d artwork.  But a real physical representation is problematic, for toys and for any 3d animation like SFM.  Are the colors arranged side-to-side or bottom-to-top?  Why is the rainbow out of order (green is next to red, not yellow)?  How does it transition from the head hair to the back of the neck?  You can't really see since RD isn't often drawn from behind, only flying where the blue-green section blows out to obscure it.

 

Not a fan of Twilight's either; don't like bangs in real life or on ponies.

 

Fluttershy is probably my favorite.  It adds to her personality the way it adorably frames her face.  Pinkie's is good too.

 

Oh, and Big Mac, since my hair in real life is just about the same color and length and style.
