After a good, long while I pretty much asked myself "Why do I not interact with other fans of the show?" So, I went to "The Google," searched Jeric's exact words, and bada-bing, bada-boom did some lurking and joined on the same day. I have felt at home ever since. <3 I went to ALL OF THEM. But some of them were even unactive, I didn't get a welcome response until half a day later on one. Oh man, I still find that such an awesome coincidence. I stopped at a traffic light on my way to a stereotypical Ramen shop when suddenly a pink pony with purple swirly eyes and a spiny hat appeared on the hood of my car and said to me in Princess Celestia's voice "To ThE MoOn YuO Go!" She then had a nose bleed since she wasn't suppose to talk and then suddenly I was rocketed to the moon where I switched places with Princess Luna. Now I'm stuck here with nothing but Luna's laptop that can only access this site. It's a nightmare i tell you! Somewhere along the way he recommended me to come to this site. So I did, and I'm glad I did because this site has left a huge footprint in my life. I've created so many friends here. Deae Rising Shine~ 55,773 November 23, 2014 Share November 23, 2014 Short version: Other forum, friend came with Flutter Ava, RP, watching few episodes, more addicted, becoming more brony, others annoyed by me and my like, a lot of stress there, finding another friend who start liking it, months later suddenly ignoring me everywhere, depressed, looking for MLP Forum, finding this site, liking it, sign up. Long version: Seriously I would sit here over 30 minutes for that ... buck it XD (Prepare for awesomness that could be a Fic XD) It was in a german forum about the trophies you can earn in each game on PlayStation 3 etc. I had a friend, who was a big fan from the R*-Games(GTA, RDR etc.), heck he had every platinum trophy from each R*-Game! There was a thread, where you can write useless things like you want. Well, someday, around January/February 2013, he came in this thread, like every day ... instead of the R*-Games Logo, he had ... Fluttershy. Sure, we where all confused, what the buck this thing was, we maked jokes too(He knew it was jokes). This came into a kind of RP then, where we infiltrated Canterlot and tried to save him from the ponies XD Yeah, this kind of RP with guns etc. Around End February/March 2013, I made a plan. Too find out the weakness from each pony, I started watching MLP on YT ... 1st episode ... 2nd episode .... etc., the typical addicting shedule. So, sooner or later I said myself I liked it. I told him that and we write a lot about it. He was also the one who gived me the tip to watch in english. Well, as the result and typical me, I even managed to have a over half year long RP with a non-Fan XD However, where user are, that accepting my love for the show, there are always those who make jokes. A bit of my fault, because I started to roleplay a whole week, like I would be the mare "Crystal Water". A lot got pissed off, but I didn't realized it. That caused 3 Users to start acting like Fluttershy, Dash and Derpy ... with the different, that they still wrote their usual shit and sex things, just with writing "-Derpy" under each post they make. That really got me pissed off. ... what caused to a fight, wiith tyranny, provokation, real bad words(Son of ... You know the rest) and stuff. Some even got banned for a month etc.. I was banned from the off topic area, like forum games, for 10 days too. Around that time I find another friend in the forums. He accepted it and slowly started to like MLP too. We also played together games on PS3 online, like GTA V or COD BO2. Months later, the fighting slowly calmed down, around End January 2014, he suddenly removed everything MLP Related and deleted and blocked me everywhere(Forum, FB, PSN). I don't even know, why, he never told me. Oh, yeah, my closet brony time ended around october 2013, when after years, my big brother asked in the forum something and saw my ava and sig with ponies. Anyway, with the hate of a lot users and one of my best friends suddenly against me and MLP I got really depressed. Beginning February, I know, this is not my place to have fun anymore, and as other friends already said, I should try looking for a forum about MLP. So, because I watching it in english, I looked up for an english MLP Forum ... ... and so, on the 4th February 2014, a new innocent Brony sign up here, and Rising Shine was born :yay: :yay: 3 Legends never die.
