If you could be famous, would you?

If someone gave you the opportunity to become famous overnight, would you take it? Personally, I wouldn't. A lot of people who do become famous end up with depression and take drugs and a bunch of other awful things. Despite having a lot of money, the fame isn't worth it.

I would love it. But only if I got to make my own career choices. I personally want to be an actress, so getting called for a lets say Hunger Games movie would be beyond amazing. But again, I want to go my own path and be different then all the other actresses. I wouldn't be a Mary Sue, but I wouldn't make incredibly stupid choices either

I mean, if it's to be loved, fame isn't the way to go. If you're going to say every famous person is loved, than you've never been on the internet.

Tough question. I'd love the attention because I've spent so much of my life under the radar or basking in the fakest of limelights, but you're right about the fame bringing a lot of pain. I'd probably end up picking being famous, but living to regret it, unfortunately.

No, I absolutely would not want to be famous. I've had brief brushes with it in the gaming community, and it made me absolutely miserable. Plus, I've seen what fame does to people. Makes them crazy.

I would want to be famous, but only for the things I do well at. Also, I wouldn't do it anyway cuz the first thing that would come to my mind if I did except was something COMPLETELY wrong. So no, I wouldn't risk it. I'd rather let my popularity take some time as I go along.

I would love it if I reach a point in my future career where I make something people really enjoy to that point, but I would likely create a pseudonym to avoid being identified. It would be very sweet, but also, very bad. As far as I can tell, fame only corrupts those who fall under that category, and only very few get out of that. Take Miley Cyrus for example...she used to be a sweet girl, very close to her father, and was a role model for quite some time...and now look at her. She is a has been, and is becoming a never been...I understand throwing away a persona to move on into adulthood, but being provocative to prove a point is another.

I would like to be "Youtube Famous". I dislike the whole "paparazzi follow you around, signing autographs everywhere" deal. But as Youtube, similar to the Youtuber "Cryotic", where you have an alias, and everyone recognizes you for what you do, but people don't know what you look like in real life.
