Ladies and gentlemen... tonight's the night where Groups C and D begin to play their second matches of the 2014 MLPF World Cup! Tonight, we will feature three must win games for two characters! Angel and Octavia MUST win against Applebloom an Fluttershy respectively, or else their World Cup campaigns will be mathematically over with a game to spare! Will Angel and Octavia stay alive, or will both characters be packing their bags early?!

 

The game in Group D will be an exciting one for sure as Scootaloo's potential magic run continues with a game against the queen of partying, Pinkie Pie! The stakes are not as high as what we've seen in Group C, but they're still pretty high with a Knockout Stage place calling out to them both! Why? Winner progresses is what! Can Scootaloo keep her magical start going, or will Pinkie Pie put a dent to the stories?! 

 

Well, these questions will be answered beginning in half an hour as the MLPF World Cup anthem plays! The characters and flags are just beginning to come out to Estadio Nacional de Haysillia! Let's sit back and watch now!

Apple Bloom should beat Angel pretty easily. Poor bunny barely got any votes last time around.

 

I'm pretty confident that Fluttershy will beat Octavia. As far as background ponies go, Octavia seems like one of the most popular. However, she's facing off against one of the mane 6, which I would think spells doom for any background character. This is especially true since Twilight beat Vinyl relatively easily.

 

Scootaloo vs Pinkie though... I think this has the potential to be close. I never would have thought Scoots could actually beat Celestia, but it happened. I'm sure Pinkie will prove to be a more challenging opponent than Sunbutt, but I think she might just have a shot.

As for the current contestants... I don't know what to do! Not really fond of Pinkie, but Scootaloo isn't best CMC on my list either.
