How often have you threatened to quit the show?

I quit halfway into S9 and haven’t looked back. I’m surprised I didn’t quit after S6, i probably would have if I knew how things in this show was going to play out

I've never threatened to quit the show, but there have been moments I wasn't happy with and I *did* take a hiatus from watching the show after season 5 until season 8, and honestly I only watched seasons 7 and 8 after they aired and didn't go back to watch season 6 until the final season started. Idk why, it just wasn't my cup of tea   Seeing as i've been into MLP since I was 5 it would take something huge for me to stop watching anything mlp-related

 

 I'll be honest though, I hated starlight glimmer at first. rightly so i think, cause she *was* a villain. and when i found out they reformed her i just didn't get it. But, once again, I completely skipped season 6 and now that I think about it, the later half of season 5 as well. Of course, I really like starlight now that i've seen her episodes, but still. I like the Student 6 as well, but they always seemed a little out of place to me too.

Also, i know a lot of people got really mad over alicorn twilight, but i had been hoping she would become an alicorn at every season premier and finale, so i was actually ecstatic when it actually happened

Never felt the need to quit ‘em horses. Closest I was is not following on G5, but decided to give the movie a try, and I must say what’s probably the best MLP film ever released was a very strong start to this new generation

I've never done so I mean besides why would I threaten that to anyone don't like the show just don't watch it. The fandom would likely be way larger then it is had it not been for fans leaving every drama. To be honest seeing adults behaving like children isn't funny to me, sad and depressing but not amusing have some dignity don't complain about a cartoon and threaten to leave it.

You wouldn't believe how often honestly, it's so dumb Twilicorn drama pretty much half of the brony fandom left I'm not even kidding and they always made a statement about it. Reality is the brony fandom is a tiny fraction now of what it was, I'd say about five percent of them judging by the forums activity of course discord took a lot of the users onto their platform. However, that said there were many other dramas that then had people go into a frenzy and leave. The thing is though the fandom was never that large to begin with, just rather vocal and you can see it everywhere but yeah watching adults threaten like that makes me wonder if they have nothing at all going for them in their life. I don't know just focus on your work, or the downpayment of your house haha.

For me, "complaining" is more like an state of being. So, it doesn't matter whether I am in line for the bank, or arguing with myself in the shower. I'm always threatening people, imaginary or otherwise, with leaving the fandom.

I don't know, the reason why I stopped watching the show after Season 6 was because I so burned out on MLP in general. That, and most of S6 episodes just put me to sleep and I don't want to watch it ever again. Once I got into the show again and watching the later seasons(through brony reaction videos), but in hindsight, I regretted it and I wish I didn't, knowing all of the behind the scenes stuff that happened.

After seeing G5(which it's fine and dandy), I can't look back on G4 anymore(at least the FiM show). It's complicated, but it's too polarizing for me to think nor talk about. I'm not giving up on the characters since I still love them forever and I will always still admire Faust's creativity, but everything else? Not so much. I just can't deal with it anymore. If I wanna look back on G4 again, it'll probably just for fan made content like fan animations and mature fanfics for now on.

For G5? I'll still check out the Netflix series since I enjoy the movie, but I want to look at it as its own thing.

Characters constantly being regressed to prop up their new ones, the show staff refusing to learn from their repeated mistakes. wasting all their time on stupid shit no one asked for. I was expecting them really give it their all and bring the show to new heights for the final season but evidently that was expecting too much. 2-4-6 Great was the episode where I just had enough

Honestly I don't think I've ever really "threatened" to quit the show, but I have in multiple occasions attempted to cut my ties with the fandom, particularly in 2013. Granted even then it usually just coincided with me not doing well personally or wanting to try new things.
