I Have Hope.

It's going to be  a new year, for better or for worse. I could go on about how much the world has changed, or maybe I should go on about something that is really important to me. You guys have made me happier than anyone outside of the internet.

 

 On the outside, I am considered a best friend by many...but never treated like one. You guys really showed me what friendship is all about, and the true meaning of it all through good time and bad times. I have made friends, I have made enemies...but who is more important? 

 

Friends, obviously...and your the ones I care for more than anything. Although, my enemies have feelings as well. Enemies...this is a new year, a new time...if you don't forgive me, even if it is one of our faults (most likely both), you are worthy of compassion. If you do, you are my family, and if you don't know, you are my best friend.

 

I would shout names of those through the roof tops that have made me happy, but I can't possibly do that because I have came across so many wonderful people, even it it was for a time being.

 

This year has been very rough for all of us, even those who had to leave the forums for excusable, and unexcusable reasons. I have had a rough year because of family troubles, which i'm sure many of us have, and more beyond.

 

For those who are hurting, make a resolution for yourself tonight this New Year's Eve, set a goal for yourself to get the help you need, to be a brighter person, to fix what is broken...your heart. Your angst is not in vain, but think about how it affects others than yourselves...I'm not saying that you must be happy for everyone.

 Do it for yourself. Fight on, this is your life and you can't let a pointless emotion kick your butt from wall to wall. Do the positive, think of the positive, be the positive. 

 

Treat others how you would treat yourself, and treat yourself how you would treat your best friend!

I really do hope 2014 will be full of happiness..come on now, members, FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC. Without that magic, there is no laughter, kindness, loyalty, honesty, and generosity. These elements would mean nothing, and neither would magic without these elements of great harmony.

i dont mean to sound pathetic to annoy ya'll but im done trying, 2 years ago i realized it was all pointless, you gotta look at life as just a coincidance or an evolution, we are here and these holidays such as new year and birthdays are just days and nights no meaning and nothing special, the word "special" it self is just a word nothing else....

Also, I was thinking the way the worlds going that 2014 was going to suck. Also, it's my last year of high school so I'll have to get out into the real world. It'll be a little scary, and new but I have high hopes for next year.

 

Now you got me excited for all the potential next year has.

I believe it's the way you look at life determines how you see it. Seeing everything as pointless, will not make it any less pointless.

I most definitely agree. Right now, I'm going to come out blunt and say it: don't complain about how your life sucks; actually do something about it. When people offer to help you, don't turn away with a tragic smile and say, "you don't understand..." Accept the damn help! Stop looking at the negatives and see the world in a brighter outlook. Things are only as pointless as you make them to be.

That was a great speech. I find it sad that a lot of people are negative about the new year. Even a few years ago in 2011 when I used to be depressed, I was still hopeful for the next year. That year turned out to be great. Life is what you make of it. For me, 2013 was a great year, and 2014 can only be better.

Talk to your folks about it, i'm sure they would understand. Try scheduling an appointment with a therapist, or talk to one of your closest friends or someone you look up to (may it be an adult, teacher, gaurdian...). This is really serious, and they have medicine for those who are uncontrollably depressed. Get help while you can!

If you actually knew me, sir...I do this because I care. If I really didn't, I wouldn't have wasted my time to make this post. I wouldn't have taken the time to help anyone. If I didn't care, I wouldn't be filling my profile with quotes and happy statuses day by day. I wouldn't try to point any finger at ANYBODY, unless you know them well enough. I try to help you, and you end with that. If I could help you, Mr. Eddie, I would...but i'm not no Jesus Christ. I gave you the best advice I could. I wish I could understand to, but it's already apparent you don't need my help. Happy holiday to you too.
