Nothing Twilight Sparkle is flawless.

 

Really though, I honestly don't have any problems with Twilight Sparkle, hence her more known nickname "best pony".

 

Actually, I guess I don't like the fact of how she hasn't sang in Season 4 at all. (yet?)

Twilight Sparkle is best pony but as a princess, I feel that she doesn't use her powers enough. She should understand that responsibility isn't something that can be ignored or downplayed.

I love Rarity in her entirety as a character. My beef is with the way she's used at times. More often than not they will force Rarity into an extreme of her personality for the sake of plot advancement. A perfect example of this is the sleepover episode with Twilight and Applejack. When the tree crashes into the room she spends her time doing the little things? I don't think so. Rarity's not THAT dense and I hate that they portrayed her as that way to get a friendship lesson in there.

It's not like Rarity could have expected Blueblood to be that way though. For all intents and purposes she seemed to just know him by name, station and face but nothing else. The few interactions with royalty she's had were with Celestia and Luna who are both benevolent rulers so it's not hard to understand why she'd assume Blueblood would be of the same ilk.

 

Her opinion of him changed rather quickly when she saw his true colors so that says more about her than the fact that she assumed too much about him beforehand. She was smart enough to tell him to piss off.

Sure but it just doesn't seem to be in Rarity's character. She does worry about the little things quite often but when there's a very obvious big problem right in front of her face she's never been one to back down from it.

It did not really have to do anything with her being stupid, she is actually very smart. She was just in shock, she has an almost psychological dislike for disorder, and after that tree came through that window the room was just a mess. She was in shock, ignored all that chaos, and instead put the books back in place. She just could not cope with the destruction.

 

Kinda like someone who is so deranged and confused after for example his house burns down that that person still tries to sweep the ashes out of the ruins.

It's not really about backing down though, it's just that they prioritize the tasks that must be completed in a weird way. My mother does this a lot, and she gets her self really worked up over how long it's taking to finish something because she focused on weird random things first. She simply lacks the ability to just half ass something or do a job that's "good enough" so every task seems equally important to her.

Dash ALWAYS has to learn the same lessons about loyalty and humility over and over again....so her episodes are usually pretty boring if not terrible plus, she can be a bit of a jerk sometimes.

Well, let's see. The thing about him is I love all his faults, so this is kinda hard...

 

If anything, I dislike how he pushes ponies away. He seems to want a friend (at least, it seemed so in KCaFO) and it's sad that he doesn't act like he needs anyone until he realizes he's pushed them so far away that he has to run to get them back.

 

But that also makes him a more interesting character; Argh!

 

He's also arrogant. But I find that amusing.

As much as I LOVE Rarity, can't say that I'm a big fan of the gag where she has somepony carry a large amount of luggage for her, mainly Spike. It just doesn't make her look good.

I know she's my favorite too and not only Spike but Sweetie Belle too I mean I know Spike is small and all but I'm guessing being a dragon and all he's strong enough BUT Sweetie Belle just looks too young and delicate to carry ALL that luggage Rarity made her carry in that episode where Rainbow Dash told scary stories XD

My favorite pony is currently Twilight Sparkle just cause I feel like she matches my personality a bit clearer, i tend to think litterally like she does.

 

But problem with her though is that sometimes she doesn't think outside the box and (like I would expect a princess) she doesn't view two sides equally on a situation, but more like she picks one side of a problem and doesn't consider alternatives. This happened on the episode of Flutterbat.

 

When those fruit bats invaded the apple farm, AJ's arguement that the bats were pests had to go away for good, while Fluttershy says they are animals who have feelings and could simply be moved to small part of the orchird and coexist along side. However Twilight immediatly sides with AJ's argument over Fluttershy, rather then treating them equally and thinking it over. That was annoying to me.
