I assure you, you aren't being ignored; I do take a throughout look at any character posted in my little threads.

If you'd take a look at the thread, you'll find that I only respond to those post I deem worthy of a request. This means that I positively adore either the character design, the backstory or both.

Now, me not choosing to draw an OC can mean anything from "just short of making the cut" to "I dislike this character immensely". Since OCs are something people create for themselves in their own free time and for fun, I feel it's not necessary for me to detail my decision and possibly hurt people's feelings.

I don't mind that you won't pick mine(well ok I mind a little), but you misunderstand, I just like to be informed. I would prefer you to just say "Don't like it. Won't do it.", rather than just saying and/or doing nothing whatsoever. Then I just wait for days wondering..."Is that a yes? Or a no?". I'm sorry, I don't want to be annoying, of which I seem to be doing a terrible job at right now.

Design: Not much to go by, since there is no pic on the profile and your avatar does not match the description.

Backstory: So he was an alicorn present when Discord was around? And he managed to escape from being held captive, something that Celestia and Luna were unable to do?

You would have thought we'd have heard of him by now.

Not sure why a dragon would symbolize willpower either, as their predominant trait seems to be greed.

Oh and we can't forget about the "many martial arts" he mastered (at the age of 18 no less) and the suerspecialawesome sword from Arthurian legend, that somehow wound up in the MLP universe. .

1/10, would suggest going back to the drawing board and trying to come up with something less Sue-ish.

Backstory: So, he lives in Manehattan and likes to party. And his talent is being cool?

Tiny piece of backstory that got saved: 

 

Skylar's Bloodline / Heritage: 

Skylars real father (Crimson Dawn) was a unicorn of great renowned, not only for his magic ability but also for his very wayward nature with mares. When he discovered that Serafine (Skylars mother) was with child he fled canterlot, fearing that a child would consume to much of his life.

Serafine was left to raise the infant by herself for many years, moving from home to home trying to find a place to settle down but she could no longer afford to stay anywhere. Out of desperation she decided to partner with an older stallion (whom she detested) so she could protect and care for her son in a safe environment. Mordus (her new partner) was a very wealthy stallion who detested the 'lower classes' and always looked down upon Skylar as a rebellious foal who wasn't worth his time.

Eventually (due to Mordus being unable to stand the infant and how it affected his standings with the upper classes to have such a wayward son) he made Serafine leave with him to an unknown location, by blackmailing and threatening her. Being forced to leave her ( now 11 year old ) son broke her heart but she couldn't risk Mordus harming him, upon their departure she was able to scribble down a quick note to her son, that was the last he ever saw / heard of her.

My OC is an Ookapi also known as the african unicorn (loved them since I was little!) Her name is Sobori hence my name. She is kinda shy but warms up quickly. Her talent is Alchemy and she tries realy hard hopeing to one day be as good as Zecora. She was kinda kicked out of her home (don't have a name for it yet. Kida out of horse puns) for an infestation that was her fault. For years she has been trying to fix as in nueter parasprites for the use as pets but after causing a stampede of wild animals who were once parasprites that destroyed half her villiage they told her to get out. so now she lives in the everfree forest and studies under Zecroa so she can get better with potions and not cause massive property damage.

I hope to do more art of her when I get a tablet.

Well, due to me neglecting my drawing, I'm once again in dire need of practice.

So I have once again decided to once again do a few requests (probably around 5).

To those of you who are new to my threads, here is how it goes:

You post a link to your OC profile  and if I like it, I'll do a request for you. You can check my art thread (link in signature) to get an idea of my art.

The following rules apply:

ATTENTION: Only apply if it's a proper OC with a proper backstory. If you only got the design, it's not an OC, it's a picture.
