I cant really choose, I love all the music, from tribal rhythms to latest electronic music releases

But if I had to choose, I'd say 80's

I have a variety of favorite decades of music ranging from old and modern.

The 60's are great for the classics.

The 70's did a pretty good job with disco and catchy music.

The 80's is my personal favorite for bringing the most out of rock, heavy metal, and the rising success of the Queens.

The 90's were great too, but not my favorite by much.

As of now in the modern times, I like most underground music of certain genres, which I enjoy a lot, but sadly, most are ignored thanks to the popularity that is mainstream pop and rap. X/

I like the fact that even a lot of pop music in the 80's (new wave especially) was really good. It just had a great charm to it.

The again the 90's seemed to have more variety of genres, alt rock got its act to together. Electronic music took off and there were better albums overall. Of course post-grunge era really did suck tho.

I guess I'm torn between those 2 decades although i do love 70's funk, disco, and classic rock too. Just not that soft schlock....

I've never really cared about the time period for music except for genres that were left mostly forgotten in certain times. I'm a huge metalhead and now is the time for metal but there's some genres that are either overlooked or just plain haven't been around as much like Celtic. Granted there is still a lot of Celtic music out there but it's not huge like certain other genres, at least not where I live.
