I am. I was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, which apparently makes me a wee bit smarter than others. Side effects are unknown, assuming there are any.

As for me - got Asperger's. Wouldn't give it up for the world.

Parents told me doctors thought I was retarded when I was born. Parents got pissed and they were well right to be pissed. They responded by teaching me. I still have mild autism, but it's a lot better than what was witnessed in the past.

Sarcasm or not, it wasn't that bad, it actually gave me a chance to live a 'normal' life, all though my family life up until I was diagnosed was really 'rocky'.
