movies/tv Tangled or Frozen?

So both of these latest Disney princess films have been created by the same amazing animation studios. There has been a bit of discussion over which is better because of the slight similarity between in two in terms of animation style and such. So, which film is your personal favourite?

 

If I had to pick, I'd say Frozen. I enjoyed the soundtrack, characters and comedy a lot more. I loved the sister relationship and I thought the true love's twist was great. However, I found that Tangled's story was a bit more rounded-up and left fewer questions unanswered.

Definitely Frozen, although Tangled was a pretty good movie too. But Frozen seriously was just so amazing in my opinion.

The music was simply fantastic! Let it Go, was beautiful and amazing, the Snowman was really cute and was an excellent transition from the past to the present of the movie. And even in the whole "love at first sight" bit at the beginning with Hans that I really disliked (Since that's how a lot of princess movies use to be), Love is an Open Door made more than tolerable! Wouldn't even have second thoughts about this choice.

I'll have to say Frozen as well. I liked the music, characters, and overall plot of it more than I did Tangled. Not to mention, that ending was a nice twist. Both were great movies, though, I just happen to like Frozen a bit more.

Frozen, easily. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Tangled but I found Frozen to be so much better. It managed to get a few good laughs out of me, I enjoyed the winter/Snow power idea, the songs were amazing, the animation was amazing (namely during the song "For the First Time In Forever -Reprise-"), and the characters were lovable.

Why not both? Granted I've not seen all of frozen but I've watched enough clips and listened to enough music to get the feel of the movie and... I love it just as much as tangled... But then again there are other disney movies I love even more...

Well Tangled was hilarious I preferred Frozen since I liked how the ending took a nice twist and I liked the characters better.

I would have to say Frozen is the greatest out of the two. Tangled was great. It used to my favorite Disney Princess movie for quite a while actually. That was until I saw Frozen in theaters and sweet Celestia it blew me away! The characters; their back stories; the character development over the course of the film, it was all fantastic! I especially loved Anna and Elsa, the two main princesses. Seeing their close sister bond was really heartwarming for me. Elsa's magical ability to manipulate ice and snow was beautiful to see and her singing was wonderful to behold. The movie's icy cold atmosphere was utmost breathtaking. It made me appreciate nature and its season of winter more than I already did beforehand. That movie is also the reason why my new favorite color is now blue. 

 

Overall, I'd say it's way better than Tangled. I loved Tangled and I still do, but this movie beats it in a landslide in terms of beauty, atmosphere, soundtrack, and characters.

Tangled was cute, Frozen was amazing. Frozen simply had more realistic characters, in how they handled themselves. I also loved the soundtrack better in Frozen.

Between Tangled and Frozen and I am totally in agreement that they were both wonderful, I guess I would have to choose Frozen.

Choices, choices..

 

While Frozen grabbed me more, I must say Tangled had a more interesting world.

 

Frozen's world was mostly.. well.. frozen and I'm not saying it wasn't beautifull because it was.. But it did get pretty plain watching all that snow all the time.

 

Tangled had some more interesting areas; the forest, canyon, beach/sea and a very charming city

 

 

That said though; I pick.. BOTH!

I had a small cartoon crush on Rapunzel from Tangled. Even so I have to go for Frozen. Tangled was great and I loved it but I loved Frozen more. Just an awesome movie overall.

I definitely LOVED both. I think I did like Frozen's story line a little more but I liked Tangled's music better and there was something that just appealed to me more.

I preferred Tangled. I'll concede that Frozen was more consistent, had better songs and a better story, but Tangled had a certain chaotic quality that made it more enjoyable to me.

 

Frozen had more weight to bear though, expectation wise. Before I saw it everybody and their mother was hyping it up as the best thing ever, and while I enjoyed it overall, I was disappointed. Maybe it'll fare better on a rewatch...

Between the two movies, I'd have to say Frozen because even though Tangled was a bit unexpected with the quality I think that Frozen hit a home run just like Tangled.

Tangled. Frozen was sort of a bore compared to Tangled, not to mention it lacked the charm and humor Tangled offered.
