Which of the main six would be the best narrator?

And for like an episode set up imagine one of the main six recapping what happened at the start and the end.

 

who would you pic?

imagine seeing what happened through pinkie pie's eyes.

or doing the same episode 6 different times and getting a different perspective.

 

I know 6 would over do anything,

but given the right episode that would be alot fun.

In my headcanon at least, the problem with Twilight as a narrator is that she'd be a bit stiff and dry. Too by the book to actually tell a decent story. For a combination of eloquence and engaging behavior, I'd turn to Rarity. My headcanon is that she's the second overall smartest in the group behind Twilight, so in my mind's eye she has the info needed to deliver a proper story, but with the pizazz of her naturally dramatic and flamboyant nature.

I think they would all make great narrators.

 

Applejack - Subdued with some country swag mixed in.

 

Rarity - As others pointed out, dramatic and interesting.

 

Fluttershy  - Reserved with actual shock at the events.

 

Rainbow Dash - We find out exactly what was 'radical' and 'awesome' in the narrative.

 

Twilight Sparkle - An exact telling of the events.

 

Pinkie Pie  - An exact telling of the events from Pinkie Pie's perspective, which could mean anything.

Hmm definitely an interesting question. Hearing any of the Mane 6 narrating a story would be delightful, but I think Twilight would be the best choice. She's smart, well-read, and I'm sure she knows her grammar and pronunciation, so there'd be no problem with her butchering words or stuff like that. It's likely that she's had prior experience narrating too, since she's such a reading nut. Oh yeah, can't deny that her voice is lovely to listen to so that's one more reason. You can just tell that she'd get really into it, due to her affinity for a good story.

For an episode in which all of the Mane 6 participate, I can imagine Spike being the narrator. I think this has already happened (Spike narrating), but I'm not sure right now. If it's got to be one of the Mane 6, I'd choose Rarity first, as the others said, because of her sophisticated and dramatic way of speaking.

I'm surprised that this list does not include Spike. Poor guy, he was already a narrator in the Hearth's Warming Eve episode and I thought that he did a fantastic job. This guy needs more love and recognition  .

 

But, since we're just sticking to the mane 6 I would probably have to go with Twilight. Whenever I hear her voice, I instantly tune in to hear what she has to say. She's well composed and has been shown to have complete mastery in her delivery of the English language, so it shouldn't be a surprise that many people chose her as a potential narrator.

Definitely Twilight, seeing as she's the primary main character for the show and is responsible for the majority of the friendship lessons. However, the show's strong visual language, dialogue, directorial style, and story structure really make it just fine without one. One upside to having a narrator is that it would cut down on expository dialogue and scenes to save time.

 

If Twilight would have been narrator, Tara Strong would've made a stronger attempt to pawn the role off on Morgan Freeman.
